I loved, past tense, this store. My husband and I have bought Jewelry here a few times and have always had a great experience…….. Until now. Last December (2014), I bought myself an earring and ring set. I was very apprehensive to use the credit I had available to me but I did and charged the purchase to my account. I specifically asked and was told that my purchase was calculated for 24 months and that paying my minimum payment would have it paid off in 24 months. Because I have bill pay and knew what my minimum payment was I always just paid it through my banks bill pay and never looked at the itemized bill statement. Today I noticed that although I am supposedly 1 year away form paying it off, the balance indicates that its not possible. I called them and they had the nerve to tell me that they calculate for a 24 month payment plan but that it actually takes longer to pay off. I asked the associate if she thought that was dishonest especially since I was told something completely different (24 months to pay off) by the sales clerk and she said "No, I dont think its dishonest". What!?!?!?! She said that the sales associate probably didnt understand the credit program. Well, thats possible, but thats not what they told and sold to me. I was very clear and asked many specific questions to make sure what I was committing myself to and this was not it! I think that whether the sales clerk understood the "credit program" or not, this is a huge problem between their sales associates and the credit department! But does that mean I should still pay for this under the current undisclosed terms??? No I dont! I should at least be extended the opportunity to return the items or receive some sort of equitable offer/compensation to correct or better this situation. But the customer service I received was appalling! Let me just say that my husband and I own our own company and our customers are our 1st priority in our business. They are our bread and butter and we take care of them. If I were working for this company I would be embarrassed and if I had a say I would do something to help the customer instead of taking their money and running! I will NEVER shop here again.

I went to check all the jewelers for a ring for my wife only because after a year of marriage we were finally able to afford it and choose exactly what she wanted. I was willing to get her whatever she wanted. 2 of the 2 jewelry places pushed diamonds but Nate was truly amazing for us. He understood and listened to what we wanted. I talked to him about a ring for myself as well, even though I didnt go for a ring with them because I am very simple and went for a stainless steel instead he was very understanding and was happy to talk to me on a personal level and get to know us as people rather than commission. Glad to know we were happy and even though another store in that mall had the exact watch I liked I dont know watches and he told me every detail and filled me in on the basics. I was very happy with my purchase with the ring and ended up buying my first watch ever priced at 500$ definitely happy with both purchases and whatever he earned commission wise he deserved every penny. Told me 3 days until my wifes ring came in resized and it happened in 2 days. Im going back tomorrow to look at another watch. More than happy to reccomend both Johnathan and Nate to friends and family, they are true gentlemen and I appreciate that they helped us find the ring for the love of my life. The staff at this location are so awesome, not once have I gone to this layton location and been unhappy. My Fiance and I had a horrible experience at the Ogden location thats in the Ogden mall, we explained to them the problems we have had with my ring, and asked if we could exchange it, the general manager there actually started yelling at us and then walked away from us in mid conversation he didnt even try to help us, and the staff there ran our credit again without consent they said they just were updating information, my fiance and I were so upset with our experience. We had decided to try to go to the Morgans in the layton mall, we spoke with the general manager Jonathan, we explained our experience that we had at the other location and also explained that we didnt even want our money back we just wanted to exchange or same or less value, and that we were kids unhappy with the ring we hha selected, we had nothing but issues with it, Johnathan was more then happy to help us, and in return I got a ring that I am totally in love with. Johnathan is the definition of customer service, he really listened to our concerns and fixed it to the best of his ability. He has no idea how much meant the experience meant to us. I would highly recommended this Morgan jewelers location to anyone who want exceptional customer service, and listening ears.

I had an amazing experience here! I went with my fiancée to pick out my engagement ring and they were so friendly and professional and we got a great price on a BEAUTIFUL ring! We obviously went back to buy his wedding band from them and they were GREAT! I love this place! They just made us feel good, treated us well, and they werent pushy or tried to get us to go out of our price range like a lot of other Jewelers. I recommend this place to anyone... Their rings are truly unique. In fact, my fiancée picked out my ring and he wanted to propose that weekend. I was out of the room while he was talking to them about this- obviously! But he told me later that they told him that the ring would take until Monday (it was Thursday) to get it sized. He explained that he wanted to propose that weekend and they went out of their way to get it ready for him the very next day! Plus the warranty is only 35 dollars and it covers EVERYTHING! My ring is getting cleaned right now! :) I was soooo happy with their service and I absolutely, no doubt about it, positively recommend them to ANYONE :)

I really liked the guy who helped us - Johnathan- We had looked at a few places- and I didnt want a diamond ring- instead I wanted a gem stone. Most other places tried to talk me out of a gemstone and pushed diamonds on us - I would explain- They are more expensive- not actually worth more- and I just wanted something different. ... But with Johnathan I didnt have to repeat myself or deal with them pushing for extra commission. He listened to what I wanted- let me try a few different one- he even took out a sharpie and colored on a couple of different diamond settings so I could see what it would look like as a sapphire or ruby! I felt respected and listened too. We ended up getting my ring there and got a mossinite. I love my ring- and I am glad we got it there.
