I use to go to this shop and even had a subscription there to get several comics. After numerous times with overall rude staff and most of the time them being more concerned about talking to their buddies about Magic then helping customers check out or help with questions about comics I left and went somewhere else. Every so often I go back since I live in the area because the shop I frequent wont have a back issue I need or I have a general question about something comic related. Every time I go back the staff make me feel like I am an inconvenience to them when I ask them something. I am not the type of person who goes around bashing sites because my feelings get hurt over one time. Time and again I have gone back trying to see if things have improved but they never do. Again it is sad because I drive an extra 20 minutes out of my way just to not go to this place and go to another shop.

Been going since I was 11 years old and is still one of my favorite places. Staff is always willing to help and consistently ask you if you need help with anything and will help you do whatever you need. Ive bought comics, magic cards and games all at good prices. They always give you good store credit for stuff if you trade it in and Ive never felt like I was being ripped off like I do at other stores. They always have cool tournaments were you can meet some really nice people, Ive met a few of my friends this way. Mike especially is always nice and willing to help in any way he can, never seen him be rude to any customer in the years Ive been going there, so I dont really know what some of the other reviewers are talking about. Great store with great staff and great products at amazing prices. I recommend it to anyone who likes comics, TCGS, or retro video games.

i travel all around the country for work and this is by far the worst comic shop.i went there to pick up 2 books one which was new and wasnt there. the other was not even a month old and was jacked up a dollar. this place is massive and has a small corner in the back dedicated to books. its following fads and trends of the current medium and totally neglects the back bone of it all. i mean you walk and walk through a giant store with all these little dolls and toys to find that they carry a small selection of books. once the trend goes down this place will suffer from having a massive store full of unwanted nic knacks. didnt the 90s teach you anything about how the industry can hype things up

Ive ever only gone to get or trade Magic cards, and while the prices can be a little high and the guy who knows magic real well can be a bit rude, they have a great selection of current and past cards. I spend at least 15 minutes each time I go just looking at the cards they have on display. I would have rated higher but I always get the feeling that the main dude who does the magic cards expects me to know as much as he does about cards and pricing. Could be a little more friendly to the casual customers that arent there every week.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Never have I been more upset. Spent $92 on a game boy color and this pokemon crystal version. The game only lasted one day before giving a corrupted file code! I called h&f to ask for a refund or exchange but the sales team refused! They cover their ass by printing a "no refund" msg on the receipt, but youd think that they would treat a long time customer who just spent almost $100 there with some understanding... Absolutely terrible. Never going there again.

I had been out of magic for quite some time and decided to get back into it. I want to make a old legacy tournament deck I had. They were helpful have a ton of the old cards I was looking for and very well priced. They also are pretty knowledgeable about making tweek to desks to help out. They also are very helpful with making suggestions and cards that can help out your deck

They have a huge selection of comics, games and collectibles. They have everything from Pokemon cards to statues to retro games and systems. We spent at least an hour there and probably didnt see everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got some comic books on our first trip will and definitely will be back to check out new arrivals regularly!

I came in awhile back to sell my magic cards. I knew I had at least over $100 worth of rare cards and the man helping me out took advantage of me (being a girl) and told me the best he can do is $30. I do not enjoy the very rude staff there along with being ripped off..... Never going there again.

No organization and the staff is pretty unhelpful. They seemed only interested in their regulars who come in to game. I came in for comic books, and they treated me like I was only looking for the cliche "girl" stuff and didnt help at all to find what I was actually looking for.

Shane who I guess is the manager of this location is rude. He came off very rude to my cousin when he was asking if he had a certain item in store. But he seems nice to any of the regular people who visit. Also heard him be rude to a kid. The rest of the staff are nice

Love this place because they always have the majority of books Im looking for. I can always go and buy most of the comic series usually with one or two missing. I wish there was a new braunfels location because the 30 minute commute sucks!

Saw a bunch of books priced above cover price (new, non-variant issues), and the staff was not helpful. While I waited in line the cashier was talking to other customers who were all using pretty vulgar and hostile language.

Back issue long boxes way overstuffed to the point where you cant even thumb through the books.. Employees were too busy talking to each and I couldnt get help. Guess I was invisible to them. Wont go back.

Not quite as good as the one in San Antonio but still great. This location is more focused on Western comic books than manga and merchandise it seems, which isnt bad, just not my main nerd-focus.

Go.here often. They just moved to a larger store with a larger space so you can actually see all the old vintage games and the new magic card wall is gonna be amazing when its filled.
