We have always used Family Book Store to have bibles engraved and been happy with them. But now that they have moved locations to the Forum i have been very displeased. I left the store in tears! I took two small bibles to be engraved as a gift for my two cousins who are sisters. I have been saving the bibles for a long time because they are not making the translation in small soft bound anymore. The lady ruined the bible. She said the machine moved the bible. Ok, mistakes happen. As upset as i was i told her i would go see if one of my friends had an extra and come back the following day. So we did find another bible, again we used my gas and time to go back and it happened again!!!!!!!!! She ruined another bible. I was just in tears! She offered to put a plack on them-which really is just a sticker! :-( While the girl was sorry, her manager insisted that i pay for the engraving of the placks! Hello, you just ruined two of my bibles and you want me to pay you to engrave a sticker???!!! I am very displeased with this situation and how it was handled. I will not be returning to this store for any of my engraving needs. I have spread word to all my friends and family to discontinue use of this location. If you want a bible engraved-and you want it professionally done i wouldnt reccomened Family Christian Book Store by any means!

I went shopping at this location with my 3 yr. old son and an older lady who worked there yelled at him to stop running. I was trying to leave in a hurry so we wouldnt bother anybody but a younger lady who worked there closed her register as soon as I got to her register then preceeded to just stand and shuffle papers. As the older worker was taking long and my son was getting impatient waiting in line the young lady calls another employee from the back to come open another register. He was nice and friendly and I went to wait in the car as my sister finished her shopping. Well, as soon as I left the store, all three employees began a conversation about me and saying that I was so angry because someone corrected my son... Needless to say my sister and all customers heard all their remarks about me and my son. Happy to say my sister did speak up for me in front of all the customers and the workers were quiet for the rest of the transactions. This is the first time I have run into such horrible customer service at a Family Christian Store.
