We had a Tie Rod break on the PASSENGER side of our truck. I replaced it and had my wife take it to Fairway for an alignment. They told her it would need Upper and Lower Ball joints replaced before they could align it properly. OK. She thanked them and brought the truck home. I bought Moog parts and replaced all 4 ball joints and while I had the drivers side apart, I replaced the drivers side Tie Rod too. (Tie Rods were not Moog, parts store messed up so I ended up with inner and outer PartsMaster Tie Rods on passenger and Drivers side). I took the truck back to Fairway myself after all the work was done, Truck handled well on the way in, but was told that the passenger sided Tie Rod was old so they couldnt do the alignment. I told them on the phone that both sides were new, they said, well, we are at an impasse because our mechanic says they are loose. I told them to pull the truck I would pick it up. When I went to pick it up, they brought the mechanic out who again told me the parts were loose. I told him they were new, he said, " We have a saying around here that new is not always right". I was ready to walk when they brought Tony out to talk to me. He said the INNER Tie rod on the PASSENGER side was old and needed to be replaced. I told him " I REPLACED INNER AND OUTER TIE RODS ON BOTH SIDES". He told me, "We have a saying around here that new is not always right". He offered to put the truck up on the rack, but there was no point in my mind. If they cannot tell a new part that I unboxed, unwrapped, and installed myself from an "old rusty part" there is no way I am going to let them align my truck. Just to add insult to injustice, the "gentleman" behind the counter charged me $20 for them to lie to me and tell me the part was old. I have a saying, "Just because you didnt get to charge me labor for the job doesnt make the installation wrong." I am having it aligned by someone else, if they find the new part was defective, Fairway should have caught it when my wife brought it in the first time, remember, it was because I replaced the PASSENGER side TIE ROD that it was brought in for alignment in the first place! The reason they didnt align it the first time was because they wanted to install new Upper AND Lower ball joints for my wife. (Im sure the tie rod wouldnt have been an issue if she had just paid them to replace the ball joints). This was an obvious attempt to up-sell labor and parts for ball joints then a tie-rod. We have two vehicles that will need replacing over the next couple of years and I am pretty sure Fairway Auto Center will not be in the running for either purchase or any repairs in the future.

I must say my my husband and I have been buying vehicles for over 20 yrs and this is by far THE BEST EXPERIENCE ever!!!! We got superb customer service from sales to finance. It wasnt a high pressure sales job or one of those "sit here 12 hrs while we try to get you financed and run your credit thru 20 places". It was a simple "hey just take the truck home and well let you know when the paperwork is ready", we declined to take it home but they offered more than once. The financing was the simplest thing weve ever done buying a car, none of that "how much do you want your payment to be, how much can you put down"? It was simply we got you at X% and were giving you $XX,XXX for you trade, is this ok? It was more than we expected and such a smooth deal, no hidden numbers and fees, straight up what we were told. I had to take the truck back a week later because I thought something was wrong, they checked it out (and nothing was wrong) but didnt charge me anything to check some extra stuff and even washed it for me!! I will NEVER take my vehicles any place else for service work and will definitely buy from them AGAIN!!! I say if you want a 100% honest deal go to Fairway because like their commerical says "its not their name its the way they do business" and that is very true. We even have a testimonial video on their website. Oh and I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!

I bought a car here recently. Tim was a very friendly guy who was very down-to-earth and never pushy. The car was ready to go when we arrived. He handed me the keys and said I could take it for a drive. When we got back he told us to take it for the long weekend to see if it worked with our garage/lifestyle/etc. He even put gas in it for us. I was surprised how trusting they were considering we live over an hour away. We took the car to an independent mechanic who verified Fairway Autos own mechanical inspection was honest and accurate. The car simply needed some new tires and a cabin air filter. Everything else was in great shape. When we returned the financing was very simple. They get quotes from multiple banks (Chase, etc) and give you the best rate offered. They were even willing to flush the transmission for me as part of the sale (because I want to make sure it is well maintained, not because it was needed). This is usually around $150. They also did a synthetic oil change and put a full tank of gas in it. So far the car has been great. All-in-all it was a positive experience. I will add any updates here in the future.

I bought a brand new F250 and started having problems with the transmission. I took it to Tyler Ford who did not fix it. I was very frustrated and reached out to Lee Cannon at Fairway Ford in Tyler, Texas. It was like night and day from Tyler Ford. Fairway came out picked up my truck, gave me a loaner, and took my truck to be repaired. Theresa called me everyday to give me updates on the repair of my vehicle because unfortunately there was a major problem with it. The part needed to repair the truck was on back order and the dealership busted their tails and found it in Alabama. I was not happy that I was already having problems with my new truck and I was really upset after my visit to the first dealership, however, Lee Cannon, Theresa and the rest of the team at Fairway not only fixed my truck but also did it with the most absolute professionalism and dedication. It is very difficult to find that kind of dedication anymore! The biggest kicker is I did not even buy my truck from Fairway but I can assure you the next vehicle I buy will be from them. Thank you Lee and Theresa for all of your help and solving my issues!!

This dealership was extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to put together the entire deal via e-mail from the comfort of my home and office. Both parties agreed to all the terms before I drove the two and a half hours to the dealership to complete the deal. Everything was “as represented” by both parties and the paperwork was ready to sign. This was the most stress-free experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. I was in and out in less than an hour. I am very happy with the purchase. The personnel at this dealership are great people…very friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone that finds the car they want in their inventory. Even if you find a comparable car at another dealership, if the choices are apple-to-apples, I would tell you to do business with these guys because they are top-notch in character, they are easy to do business with and they do what they say they will do.
