This was my first time at any location. While the bagels themselves were delicious, the service was at best sub-par. I went through the drive thru. I was told to wait a minute which I thought was fine. There was a note on the menu that said no bulk orders. I proceeded to order a bakers dozen box, but was told that was a bulk order. First off, the characterization of a bulk order is wrong. I would say that 50 is a bulk order, 13 is not. Secondly, anything on the menu in the drive thru should be available for order, if not then they need to have a different menu for the drive thru only. After being disappointed, I went inside and saw there was no line and that made me happy. But upon getting to the counter I saw that during their busiest time (the morning) they were having a meeting and that I would have to wait to place my order. Now, me waiting outside in the drive thru made more sense. The manager shouldve known better than that. If he needed to talk to all his employees he shouldve grabbed half of them, had the talk and then grabbed the other half and had the same talk. Instead he decided that the customers would have to wait on him and not the other way around. I work in a customer centric industry and this is completely unacceptable. I had a coupon for a free bakers dozen and this was the reason that I tried your company. However, after this experience Im pretty sure that I wont be returning.

I eat at this restaurant because its supposed to be an upper-tier fast food joint, higher quality than Mcdonalds, better food, better service, etc... I ordered my usual applewood bacon and cheddar egg sandwich and an iced white mocha this morning. I bite into the sandwich after I leave, and guess what? No bacon... I really dont understand how someone could mess that up. It is literally way easier than making a cheeseburger seeing as how only three things come on the bagel. It wouldnt be THAT BIG of a deal, but this happens almost every other time I visit. Whether they give me a hot coffee when I ask for iced, mess up my sandwich, or just take an incredibly long time to get my order out, something is often wrong. You guys lost my business today. It really blows my mind how someone can forget to put the freaking bacon on a bacon sandwich. If you want to see exactly why the minimum wage should not be raised to $15 per hour, visit this place.

With as many employees as there are there (they are basically tripping over each other!) nobody seems to be working together as a team? I seriously am not sure if they know whats going on or just exactly what their job is in the rear bagel buffet line. I cant tell you how many times that we have been in there and my husband orders a simple bagel with butter and peanut butter and not only does it take at least a half hour (even when there is no one in line) but it never comes to him right. The truth about the coffee is that is just doesnt have any taste? It cant hold a candle to 7-11, Dunkin doughnuts or I-Hop. And if you think I am kidding or nuts then go buy some and you will see. Unfortunately this place has got a long way to go to catch up to the rest of the world of Einsteins!

I had a full blown meltdown in drive thru bc one of the employees glared at me and threw my money at me and another male employee was being aggressive in her defense. I literally asked for a bag of chips to be added to my order which I paid for. Anyway long story short I was pregnant and could not get a handle on myself and was hysterically crying. The manager gave me 2 coupons for a free bagel. I assume the employees are fired now but I havent been back in 3 years. Please. If you are not skilled in customer service ... stick to janitorial services. Something where you interact with toilets all day so no one has to endure abuse like that. People dont forget a bad experience and none of my family or friends will step foot in there anymore. Have a good one

Go just before the school bell rings and youll find lots of parents building relationships with their teenagers over a bagel & lox and cup of brew together. Or go after 8:00 am to hop on the wifi (which by the way, got much speedier recently) and see your doctor on his day off, writing, reading, posting and tweeting. Great add to our community-- love havin you at the great Loop & Broadway crossroads, Einstein Bros! PS-- the staff was definitely skewed young & inexperienced upon opening, but they seem to be hitting their stride now with some more experienced folks in the kitchen. Wait is practically non-existent most mornings between ordering, paying and picking up. Vast improvement over first 6 months... give em another shot on service, Tyler.

Where to start? Not sure what happened..a few months ago this place wasnt bad. Now they never have the items I want.....like the last 6 times I went. I have to go thru the menu and ask what items they actually have. Someone does not know how to order stock or inventory.I would fire all the staff but the sweet girl at the window and 2 others that are obviously more experienced. If the health inspector caught them taking the wrong orders they serve back across the counter, that would be bad for them.......And it is very often they get my order wrong. I gave them their last chance today. Save your time, go someplace else!!!!

I have always been a fan of Einstein Bro until this store. The service leaves a lot to be desired!! I have given it four chances so far and they have not gotten my order right yet. Very slow--with a lot of people working behind the counter. Also, their California wrap was good the first time I had it, but the second time it was terrible - not more than a bite or two of chicken and everytime I picked it up, it fell apart. Not my idea of a wrap. Not to mention, I ordered it "to go" and they brought it to me in a basket to eat in the store. My days at the Tyler EBB are over. Sorry folks!

Kids (and infant) piled in car, me in PJs, and trying to get box of bagels in a hurry - item right off drive through menu. ONLY person in line. Wouldnt take order - said I had to come inside. Then, person at register looked at me like I was crazy for being upset. Seriously!? I get it if there is a line outside and its morning rush. But at 10:30 and no one in line... frustrating. If I hadnt already promised the family, I would have gone to Dunkin Donuts instead. Ill know for the future to keep it simple with Dunkin Donuts!

I was the only one in line at 1:30 in the afternoon. I ordered and paid for an Americano with an extra shot. At 1:44 I had to go up and ask for my order and find out what was taking so long. Their response was we dont know how to Make an Americano the one employee that knew how no longer works here. Then another employee said we dont make that drink anymore because no one knows how to Make it. My response was that is funny since i ordered one this morning a few hours ago. This place has really gotten bad over time.
