After stopping at the hospital, we decided to grab a Starbucks drink. For the last 6 years I always order the same drink. I could describe it perfectly in my sleep. Its a nice tan creamy color. Espresso, syrup and milk. Easy breezy. So I order and go to the restroom. The restroom was awful. Smelled of urine and the toilet seat covers were gone, toilet paper all over the floor and what I assume is urine on the floor. When I go out my drink is ready. Well, it was way too white so I tasted it and didnt taste any coffee. Not sure what happened but I politely asked for coffee to be added or a new drink to be made. After the new drink is made the barista asked me what I thought was wrong with the drink because... "they are like literally the same color." So another barista walks up to pour out the previous one and I stopped her, placed my new drink next to it and said.. "See? (while being polite) This is all I ever order from here so I can tell when its done differently."... The color blind barista says.." yeah I bet.. " and walks away. So, while my second coffee was awesome and the other barista was very polite.. The blue haired color blind barista needs a lesson in customer service. I dont typically appreciate the prices of drinks at SB, but when I choose to spend over $5 for a cup of coffee, Id like decent customer service and for my satisfaction to not be argued with. That was just silly. Side note.. Police officer walked in while I was waiting on the second drink and he went to walk into the restroom and he turned around and came right back out. If even a man doesnt want to use the restroom, theres a problem.

To say that this location is the worst Ive ever seen would be an understatement. I had given this place many chances, but each experience was negative. From baristas being impolite to one arguing with me over what I should and should not order. I cant say Im entirely shocked though, seeing as how Ive spoken to the manager, and little will likely change. Theyre constantly out of ingredients or something. Theyve messed up my order of a single drink numerous times. Never again. Why? When theres at least 5 within walking distance with less problems. I can see once or twice, buy not all the time. Come on, this is Starbucks for crying out loud, the king of customer service. They can do so much better. @Kavontta - Yes, I agree. This was the one that wanted to argue nutritional facts with me of what I was getting.

This is one of the best Starbucks locations I have ever been to. I have been coming here for about 3 years and even on my days off of work and I am not in the med center I still make it a point to come here. As another reviewer has mentioned, the barista Monique is absolutely the best. She does make it a point to get to know you. She calls me and everyone who walks into the door by name and really makes you feel welcome. This location also features the Clover brewing system and I recommend it if you havent tried it. All in all I love this location and I recommend everyone coming here.

The lady at the cash register was kind of rude. She has green or blue hair with tattoos on her arm. I normally come in after lunch to get four cookies (two for me and two for my boyfriend) and every time I ask for snicker doodle she feel the right to correct me. I was told its called snicker she calls it toffee..I really dont care whats its called I just want my cookies..other than that every one else here is very kind especially the guys

This location changed their separate mens and womens restrooms to two unisex restrooms. Now every time I go to use the toilet, there is piss all over the toilet seat and floor (Im a woman, btw) Also, they let the local homeless people come in and use the restroom (which further adds to its disgusting state) and harass the patrons for money.

Houston is the most diverse city in America and it seems as though when you watch the news, these people cant get along with each other. Not so at this Starbucks! Its as though they change when they walk through the door. Very sociable and friendly. I love this place!

Very much your average Starbucks, except the hours kind of suck. I would say the majority of the time I walk by it is closed. But, if you check the hours before hand, this is a nice place to get some coffee, especially if you are in the Med Center or at Rice.

This is one of the best Starbucks I have ever gone to. The barista, Monique makes a point to get to know her customers. She calls you by name each time and knows your drink. Thank you Monique, you are simply the best barista, EVER!!

The coffee shop was empty but still they couldnt brew a decent cup of Cappuccino. It was a cup of boiled milk to burn my tongue. Wasted 3 bucks.... hate the lack of consistency between the barista

This is my go-to Starbucks in the area. The baristas are super friendly, even when its packed. The only downside is that at peak hours, you may have to wait a while for your coffee.
