I have been shopping at this store for roughly 20 years, I love the small size of this store, it is easy to find what I need and their store brand of items is excellent. I hate shopping at larger stores because it takes up more of my time just getting through the store and then my feet hurt. I truly love shopping at this H.E.B., they have great specials and in store coupons. All the employees that I have spoken to over the years have been truly helpful & friendly and will even place special orders for me, saving me money by not having to pay for shipping and buying in unwanted quantities. The employees appear to be happy to be there and I see the same faces for years. Somebody is doing something right at this store. Trina E.

Usually okay with this place, until I tried to buy alcohol. The cashier was polite and followed procedure, but the manager by the name of Richard is simple and unhelpful. I had an out-of-state ID, and his pigheadedness forced me to look like a minor trying to buy illegal alcohol. Im 26, and I get the need to prevent underage abuse of alcohol, but if your manager is unable to rationalize and think on their own about why some people have hearts on their license and others dont, then he doesnt deserve to be in charge of other people, let alone himself. A simple google search will tell anybody that those hearts represent organ donors and not everybody has them because not everybody is an organ donor.

An older, smaller HEB. Not fancy like some of the new ones. Easy to get in and out of quickly for basic shopping. No olive bar, tortilla maker, or ready-made here! They do have a deli, bank, and bakery. It can be a little sketchy at night. For your big once-a-month shopping trips, go to the other HEB in town. People here are VERY friendly and helpful.

I do not reside in Temple, and was told by locals it was the "ghetto" HEB.... I did buy something from the deli that was expired on display about 2 years ago and it was appalling. However, recently I bought a deli sandwich and it was superb. The other HEB gets more business but they will accommodate. The parking is weird, and its ok. :)

Very busy location in an extremely run down building. Plan for long check out lines. Limited selections on more expensive items. Parking lot security most evenings. HEBs attitude seems to be why spend capital to provide a nice facility, these people keep coming.

Always pleasant. Got everything on my list and a few extras. I do like my HEB. My sister and brother in law in Arkansas loves alot of their store brands and stock up almost every time they come visit. She wants an HEB up there in Rogers, Arkansas sooo much.

Prices are great, very competitive. But everytime I come here, some of the cashiers and baggers just look like they hate their job, and they are not very sociable at all. If the employess upd their attitude a little more, it would be a great place to shop.

The prices at the gas station are usually pretty good. The car wash used to be excellent, but when I went today it didnt clean as well as it used to. The store is smaller than most, but it is nice if you want to run in and pick up something quickly.

This is my favorite HEB. Its conveniently located to my house, the store is small and easy to navigate and the employees are friendly and helpful. I would give it 5 stars if they had a staffed meat market so that meats could be custom cut.

I love HEB. They have the best produce, their own wonderful organic line, the cheapest gas prices in town, a clean store, and always friendly and helpful staff. UNFORTUNATELY, Walmart has introduced online grocery order! CATCH UP, HEB!

This place near my house, good prices. Employees are always nice. Only reason giving 4 stars instead of 5 not as good selection as the HEB on 31st. Like they dont sell the freshly made warm tortillas.

Best shopping experience Ive had since moving to temple Texas and the staff there is tremendous. I wont shop any where else for groceries. Need to call them and compliment them on well everything.

Smaller HEB but the staff is always friendly and helpful. I prefer this location. The parking and occasional traffic can be a real pain. But this location has better quality of service!
