GAMESNegative should be the name. i only came here because its around the corner from my job. i got off and stopped here for a headset. i got the wrong one without the adapter. so i called back up there and told them i got the wrong one and then he says if the box is damaged i cant return it. so i tell him well the top is ripped and he says just bring it here and we will look at it. so i get up there and he looks at it tells me he cant take it back because its damage. WTF?? I told him it was already damaged and not only was i mad i couldnt return it but he wasted my time with something he could of told me over the phone hours before. the headset was only 20 and some change. but they care so much about the box condition i could of told them it was defective and they still would not have taken it what kinda return policy is that?? also all of there games are overpriced for the used condition there in i might as well go buy a new xbox one game. STAY AWAY

Probably the best GAMESPlus location that Ive been to. The staff and manager had a very welcoming vibe and were knowledgable on their promotions and sales they had going on. Its a great place to look for awesome deals on used media and games. I managed to find some amazing deals on some new release titles as well as some titles for dirt cheap that are usually pricey in other stores. All their products are in excellent condition and they hooked me up big time. I would highly recommend going to GAMESPlus Woodlands to seek out some great deals on used movies and games.

Prices may seem high to people who dont know the game market or the retro market but I prefer helping local business to some flipper online. My only complaint would be that I wish they could buy rare games a lot higher and get rider of the 360 section and use the money for more retro games. Anyway, the guys here helped show me how to hook my snes, recommend me some games and even drove to other stores to get me the games I wanted. Grest prices, quality and warrenty. I will be back again after I beat super ghouls and ghosts!

This shop is a god-awful place. Firstly, their trade values are bullshit. Theyll take a game worth $40 at least, tell you its worth $10, and then give you $7 for it. And its like that with everything in the store! NEVER go here if youre looking to sell or buy retro games. All their games are incredibly overpriced, and there are NO RETURNS. They lied to me over the phone about their return policy, saying it was money back in full. Turns out, I had to take HALF. I hate this store, and never plan on shopping here ever again.

The people who run and locally work at this location are good people that know their stuff in the video game hobby and will be happy to help you to the best of their abilities. The OWNER on the otherhand in this store chain does NOT know how to interact or premote to the local hobbyist or general consumer in this entertainment industry. I am aware that a business needs to be ran efficiently to make a profit, but the unwillingness to diversify or obtain different products leaves the stores looking empty.

Been coming here for a while. If you like old retro games at prices higher then Amazon come here! I asked to Carry ultra hd blurays took them about 3 weeks to get them. Manager on duty mentioned they would be about 20.00 that sounded fair to me. Movie exchange is a little cheaper but farther away. Once they got them in they priced them at 25.00!! Same price as new at Bestbuy???? I asked about that and of course they came up with excuse saying he wasnt sure about the price. NEVER COMING BACK!!!!!!

Best place to buy games in The Woodlands. GamesPlus is better in almost every way then Gamestop-- It has a broader selection (including retro games for older consoles), better customer service (employees treat you with respect, dont question your taste in games and dont badger you for pre-orders) and no "power-up rewards" scandal. Prices on used games are also better than GameStops, and fairer prices are given for trade-ins. Why would you ever go to GameStop again?

I love this store! Always clean Well stocked and nothing like tother locations (Conroe). The people that work there are kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Specially Chris, hes awesome! He should put his own business. Professional and great business etiquette. In spite of idiotic morons that come into the store. That guy definitely earns his money. Thank you Chris and the woodlands store location team.

This store is great for finding old gaming items (original Xbox for $45) and awesome deals. All games are marked down from retail price, and the guys over there gave me amazing deals for my old Xbox 360 console, controllers, and games. They offered me $100 in store, when Best Buy offered me $35 for the same items. Great store, wont rip you off like major corporations like Game Stop and Best Buy.

So recently under new management, we re did all the newer gen prices and are working on retro gaming prices, bear with us and give us a chance to win you guys back as customers. Come visit us and let our hospitality and great deals sway you to keep coming back. Mention this review when buying something used, and who knows, might get you a better deal :D

Ive been to a few of the GamesPlus stores in the area this week and can say for the nes titles that this one had much higher prices on their carts. Gamesplus in Copperfield and Cyfair had biggers selections and much better prices. Cyfair Super Mario 2 around $12 in the Woodlands closer to $19.

I dont like anything about this place because one they are way to overpriced and theres a guy that works there thats just a snotty jerk that thinks he knows everything. I would rather drive to conroe thats way out of my way to get what i need

If youre a retro game hunter dont even bother wasting your gas to shop here. All their retro games are priced way too high. Its beyond ridiculous. Their prices are even more expensive than Ebay. I will not shop here.

Great place, great selection and game savvy staff Retro games are competitive with the average on price charts Newer games are a 1 to 5 dollars than gamestops my only issue is that they do not price match sales

The workers are very nice and helpful. I had a N64 that didnt want to load any games and they asked me to bring it in before buying a new one. They cleaned it up and it works great now.

Cool thing about this place is the staff actually plays video games...sometimes at GameStop the employees dont even know anything about games
