My experience was terrible. They listed a camera on Craigslist that I really wanted. My best friend just retired from the Marines, and he came home to his wife and 1 year old baby girl. As a gift, I was going to take birthday pictures of his daughter, so getting this camera was really, really important to me. I called to confirm the listing was accurate, and I was told it was, so I drove 2 hours one way (due to rain and traffic) to purchase it. I get there and discover its a cheaper camera than the one listed. As one employee mentions the inaccurate listing to the other, the other says, "Yeah I know. Ill go change it now." They knew? I was very angry, but I remained polite. Then they offered to sell it to me for $20 less because I had to drive so long. My only problem with that is its not the camera they listed. Its not the camera they confirmed they had, and its not the camera I came to purchase. UPDATE: I felt bad for writing so harshly and not showing any grace, so I came back and edited the review a bit. Also, someone from this pawn shop called my phone from an unknown number and left me a nasty voicemail after seeing my original review.

I dont know about the other reviewers but I had a good experience when I go to this store. The staff is nice and pricing is good and if the price is to much or over priced they are willing to make a deal. I bought an IPAD 1st Gen 16GB for $225. They had $275 on it. The only time I seen the staff get mad is when some crazy woman cam in wanting $150 for a rough mongoose bike that you can buy at Wal-Mart for $80. Then she stared cussing at them. Told her to get out but never cussed back or yelled. So those who had bad experience should give them another shot.

My wife and I have been going to Cypresswood Pawn and Gun for about 5 years. Their customer service is outstanding! My wife and I are avid target shooters. We have purchased many weapons from them and they all have been great! Lisa is especially fantastic. She already knows what we like and when we walk into the shop she will tell us that something came in that she thinks we will like. I also buy weapons online, so if you need an FFL Lisa is more than happy to transfer the weapon. You cant go wrong buying from them!

I bought a rifle there a few months ago only to find out recently that I could bought a brand new one of the same model for much less. This store is very much overpriced. Also bought a welder machine that they guaranteed would work but when I used it it kept sticking to my weld. Also they do not accept returns at all. I will never buy anything from this pawn shop nor visit it ever again.

I have used their pawn services on several occasions and purchased from them. They are great as far as I am concerned. It feels like a nice mom & pop store with great Customer service. Love the management, Lisa, is wonderful. When they first opened, they were rude. Since this management took over, they have been nothing buy nice. I will continue to do business with them.

I got a gun and had to return it due to severe family matters. they didnt want to return it and instead said will only buy it back. I bought the gun for $280 then they bought it back for $140 and wouldnt negotiate or ANYTHING! THEY SUCK AT THEIR JOB! NEVER EVER GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF! The old management was MUCH better.

i usually come here to buy my video games. and they are pretty nice they engage in conversation with me and have extremely good deals on their game related stuff. one of the employees is especially nice and has good customer service(dont know his name though. overall they are extremely nice and have excellent service

Such a wonderful shop! Went in just to see what I could find. Now I’m a regular! The employees are extremely helpful. The manager, Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and knows just how to make the customers fee like a part of the Cypresswood family. I have definitely become a repeat and regular customer.

I found this place to be both dingy and dirty dont know where the positive reviews stem from. The manager a female told me to look up a price for an item was not in her job description.Laughable and sadly ridiculous. Go elsewhere, try Money Mart on Aldine Westfield. #dobetter

Linda is first rate. Shell take care of you. They do a good job. I like them and will keep patronizing them. They were good. Then they hired a new young clerk. She treated me very rudely. It made me question why I bother to give them my hard earned money.

The guy is rude. I wanted to pawn a ps4 w/ two controllers and he offered $100 after Id told him my asking price was $200. He wouldnt negotiate at all and his tone and sarcasm was completely unprofessional.
