Went in to get my car stereo that I had installed at an Austin location fixed. The manager, Furlan, was unhelpful and very rude. I was never told to keep my installation paperwork and the San Marcos manager refused to do anything to help. I called the location where I had the stereo originally installed and was told if I get a copy of the receipt showing that I purchased the radio, installation, AND a warranty they would fix it. Furlan told me that was untrue but to get the receipt printed anyway and he would come back to help. Print the receipt and Im told hes with a customer and will be right over, except he wasnt. He was walking around the store IGNORING me because he didnt want to help an irritated customer. They eventually fixed the problem but next time I will definitely drive 45 minutes to where the original installation was done to get it repaired. Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had, not to mention Im a Premium Reward Zone member. If you can avoid this best buy, you absolutely should.

I went to this store to ask about Smart TVs with a wireless capabilities. I asked the sales guy about this option, and he didnt know anything, so he went to the computer dept got another guy, and he starts rambling on about how I need an Intel i-5 chip in my laptop with 8 gigs of ram and thats the only way I can establish a connection with my TV. Theres only one thing worse than ignorance ... thats thinking you know but dont. And theres only one thing worse than no information, and thats wrong information. I walked out of there with my hands in the air, terrible experience. I then go over to Sams, read the label on the box of new TV about the wireless connection, and buy the TV I was looking for at Best Buy. Ive had other worse experiences at Best Buy, their Geek Squad is a bunch of kids who slobber on themselves when they start rambling on about bits, bytes, and gigs. Im not sure why most of the experiences I have at Best Buy are bad; really, horrible. I have talked to "managers" for their own benefit before, and always in a respectful way but they werent so convincing that anything would change. I had yet another bad experience which is the same as usual... NO customer service. I asked for a manager to inform him of what I intended to buy, but now had no desire. This man should probably go train the other managers on how to handle people who think they deserve something and arent grateful of their jobs (most BB employees). I dont know his name but he was genuine and after he apologized, whether he told me or not, I feel confident that when I return to his store that the problem is fixed. Im glad Im not those employees right now. Thank you Manager with long hair at San Marcos Best Buy

Dont waste your money or time at this store, they are liars and hypocrites. The associates dont know anything about their products sold and they lie to the customer just so the customer purchases their item there. Took back my item with the receipt and store manager, Joe Pearson, or the Geek Squad guy, who were very unprofessional refused to return the item. It was a brand new item with cover and all and with a receipt but they still refused. What kind of a store is Best Buy becoming? I will never buy from this store again, and I will spread the word so others wont go through the same heart ache I went through.

On this particular trip to Best Buy I was interested in purchasing a camera. After being told that someone would assist me shortly, I had to wait 30 minutes only to be told once again that we would have to wait another "few minutes" for someone to become available. In addition to having to listen to the list of excuses including being short staffed and not having people on the schedule (which was completely unprofessional), I had the pleasure of witnessing several associates walking around chit chatting. This was a complete waste of my time and I have no desire to visit this location anytime in the near future.

I bought a brand new imac with the two year warranty two days later my mouse didnt work so i went to get it fixed or a new since i had the warranty for it but they said that they could not give a new one since the warranty is ONLY FOR THE IMAC NOT ANYTHING ELSE THAT CAME WITH IT, but i after arguing with the manager they finally got me a new mouse but not from them but with apple not best buy and took a week to get there and i wasnt able to get on my new imac for a week which was not fun. i dont recommend going there for products because they will not want to fix you items even with a warranty.

My computer went out and i had purchased a $300 warranty.So my computer and warranty was a total of $1700.Well my computer stop working ,took it in to best buy and apparently it got sent back from being service because it was infested with insects.So my computer cant be replaced or work on.And the boy looking manager still wanted me to pay the 35 dollars for the processing.after Holly told us no charge.So whats the point of having warranty!? Ill never buy anything from best buy again..

Ive bought lots of stuff here and the merchandise is same as anywhere else. The staff is all minimum wage college kids that can barely tell a TV from a washing machine and the geek squad? Ha - far from it! So far, I always know more than their so-called experts and usually wind up re-fixing their setups. But if you do your own research and dont need advice on a purchase - this store is fine.

This is the best location for me. Love the store and employees. If I have a question they take the time to find the answers for me. Always purchase the protection plan with all my purchases. Have used them several times and no problem at all. Go to counter hand over product they look it up and give you a new one. Most companies warranties you have to return the item to them.

I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this has been an ongoing issue with this Best Buy. This review stems from warranty rejections (pawning it off on the manufacturer), rejected returns (staff rejects it because they would have to review sales history), getting hung up on when you call with an issue, and staff giving false information on a product to get a sale.

Went here in search of a camera asked multiple employees for help, they kept saying they will call someone to assist me and no one ever came. Finally someone does and he said he has to look on the computer. 10minutes later I walk out and see him at the front talking to other employees. This Best Buy is horrible and Ill never do buisness there again.

Went in on 03/21/2016, to switch my phone from Sprint to AT&T. No other phone customers were present. The Best Buy phone Tech gave me bad info, called his Sprint contact (not tech support) to verify his bad info. Just successfully completed the transaction BB phone support said couldnt happen.. No star rating more appropriate.
