I highly recommend European Car Parts on Eckhert Road! My story was this - started having clutch problems with my 07 VW Jetta. Took it to the dealership just to see what was going on, and they informed me that I needed a new clutch kit and flywheel, quoted me a little over $1900. That stung. I took my car into European Car Parts and was immediatly put at ease by Rick. He asked me to bring my car in to have a look at it. All, in all, they were able to save my flywheel, thus saving me money. They installed a new clutch kit, and now my baby is running so smoothly! I had this work done over the Christmas holiday, so needed a rental for a few days. Even with 6 days of the rental (did I mention European Car Parts has an awesome deal with Toyota Rental cars??) I still managed to save over $400 from the dealerships original quote. AWESOME! This is a small shop, off the beaten path, but is a GEM! I will definitely be bringing my car back for any other repairs/routine maintenance in the future. Rick, Randy, and their crew are professional, reliable, and I cannot recommend them more. Hope this helps! I know car repairs (alteast for me) are always a daunting area.... Edited 2/25/13 to Add: Ive been back to European Car Parts twice - once for new brakes and most recently for the 80K service on my VW Jetta. The team is such a pleasure to work with, and the prices are fair. I feel like they are that older brother or friend who will give you advice on what they actually recommend, not what will make them the most money. It is so refreshing to find a place like this! They have earned a life long customer.

Couldnt ask for and receive better M-B service on our 3. Very friendly, very precise, outstanding personnel, owned by a German trained mechanic who grew up in Germany and KNOWS HIS STUFF. This is not just a parts source but a complete maintenance/repair center. Carrying parts for purchase and as used in his shop, owner Randy will explain as detailed info you want. Truly a caring business. Truly run as a successful repair and maintenance center for many years in SATX on Audi, VW, M-B, Porche, Volvo, Rolls Royce. and other European makes. I am not an employee or relative, just a very satisfied customer where I trust EAP to thoroughly help me keep my vehicles up-to-date and safe for all family members to ride and drive in.

I went to fix the engine of my car with these guys and I was very upset when I heard how much I had to pay. I was told by Randy that the fix would make my car last at least 2 years more- so I thought the price was worth this. Only to find out that my car broke down from the same problem 3 weeks afterwards!!!! They obviously said it was some OTHER part of the engine. How many parts to the engine?!!! and that it was going to be a couple of thousand- YES, thats right, thousands more. I said No Fing way!!! So, eventhough I usually dont write bad reviews- these crooks deserver this review and more.

These guys definitely know their stuff when it comes to European cars. Of course the price is expensive, thats what you get when you buy a European car. But they are cheaper than the dealership and do much higher quality work. Whoever said that the dealership will fix your car correctly is seriously deluded. My father owns a VW shop but unfortunately in another state. When I traded my old car to him for a newer one, he said that the repairs they had done were clean and professional.

I had a problem that had been misdiagnosed by multiple shops and even the Volvo dealership failed to notice problem in two visits. Randy did a great job of determining what needed to be done, (CVVT gear) and I already thought that this may be the issue. They were able to fix it as well as replace other components with the timing belt. Highly recommend European in San Antonio, glad I found them.

This place saved me! My S-Class Mercedes needed some serious work and the dealer in Boerne is outrageous. European Car Parts got me back on the road for much less than the dealer wanted. Ill be back and would recommend this shop to anyone.

Overpriced, uneducated, wanna-be mechanics. Stay away from this place. At least the dealerships will fix your car correctly. This places just breaks more and charges you for it.
