On 07/09/2015; the cashier, Johnny, charged me for 3-containers of "Tomatos Grape" which were priced @ $1.99 per container; when, in fact, I had only 1-container of this type of tomato. However, I also had 2-containers of "Tomatos Cherry" which were priced @ 2 for $5.00, and, for which I was correctly charged. I live approximately 10 miles from Chicho Boys and it was not until I arrived home that I initially noticed the overcharge of $3.98. My total income is two-steps below the National Poverty Level. I telephoned Chicho Boys and spoke with Johnny and explained his error of inadvertently overcharging me $3.98; and, my error of my not having had checked my receipt until after I arrived home. Johnny was very courteous and respectful and told me to keep the receipt, make a notation on it, and, to present the receipt to them whenever I, again, went to Chicho Boys. Because I do not often make the 20 Mile round-trip drive to Chicho Boys; and because of Johnnys telephone manner, I decided to go the very next day (07/10/2015) to Chicho Boys and requested to speak with Johnny. After speaking with Johnny and identifying myself as the person whom had telephoned him yesterday (07/09/2015) he immediately: (1) took the receipt, (2) walked over to a cash register, (3) made some notations on the receipt, and (4) returned the receipt plus $4.00 to me. No Mess. No Fuss. Just "old fashion" Business. "Old Fashion" as in 1950s and/or 1960s. After locating Chicho Boys web-site; I learned that It is a Family Owned Business. Their Business Manner causes me to want to move closer into town just to shop more often at Chicho Boys! Seriously, from me to them there will always be Puro Respeto (Pure Respect) because they have earned It.

earlier this morning, my husband and i were walking past this lovely fruit market, and the aroma of fresh fruit just caught our attention, but we hadnt noticed that they were still closed, when all of a sudden a gentleman by the name of GILBERT, appeared and advised us that they were still closed, he gently asked what was it that we needed, i said bananas! ! And with a smile , he was more than willing to assist my husband an i, and allowed us to purchase our bananas, plums, and their wonderful candy apples, , thank u GILBERT, i in must say you have made our morning and blessed our day,,

Fruit cups are pricey. You will be charged $1.00 extra if you pick less than two fruits. They were out of water melon, (even though they had several boxs full in their patio) If you buy their produce to add to your friut cup; a mango, you will be charged a $1.00 for slicing it up. I will not be coming back! There are so many other friut stands in SA with better fruit selection.

This store reminds me of the store my Grandmother took me to when I was little. Please support this family-owned business. It was so wonderful to see an owner-operated "Mom and Pop" produce market instead of a supermarket full of artificially ripened stuff. And their fruit cups = heavenly!

I stopped by to get snacks for me and the boys. This place is fruit and veggie Valhalla. Taken from trees, shrubs, and earth in their prime and waiting for you to take them for their next adventure. Seriously...really good food.

Their fruit trays are so affordable and delish. They come in two sizes. They also offer fruit cups. Not only do they offer inexpensive, fresh produce but they also sell yummy kombucha!
