I like going to the Mission Flea Market on Sundays because there are many great bargains. For example, I bought a pair of used mens Asics sneakers for $10.00. Also, I found good VHS movies for $1.00. I dont like the flea markets website because it is difficult to read. I think vendors should be able to post their goods and wares on the flea markets website. Also, I abhor the traffic and parking situation because there are too many people jam-packed in this outdoor flea market. ******** I do like somethings. For example, I like the man near the front entrance who sells army surplus clothing at good prices. I also like to buy my fresh veggies and fruits at this location as well. In short, I give this flea market two thumbs up despite the traffic congestion. I recommend you shop at near closing time at 1:30 pm in the middle of the Texas summer when the merchants start haggling and dropping their prices b/c they want to un-load their merchandise and not have to bother hauling it back home. Happy shopping!

I am a fan of this flea market, they are really willing to bargain (on stuff, not food, I mean dont expect to bargain $0.05 for a banana. A box of strawberries from wal-mart will cost you nearly $3, here youll pay ~$1-1.50). GREAT food, GREAT candy stands where you can buy Mexican candy in the masses for a cheap price. Entrance fees are $1 per person, excluding kids (dont know the age limit). Parking is not convenient but its available (be prepared to walk a bit, not too far though). If its a sunny morning bring an umbrella. Youll find anything there from a vehicle to live chickens and ducks. Is like a huge garage sale with lots of food/snack stands from a Lucas cucumber to an enchilada or Vietnamese plate. I think there are two public restrooms but ask any vendor and theyll show you the way.

I went over to this flea market this afternoon hoping that I would have a pleasant shopping experience and as it turned out, it was a major disappointment because some of the prices are not worth buying for. If you want to go to a good flea market where you can have a pleasant shopping experience, then check out Busseys, Eisenhauer Road Indoor Flea Market or even Traders Village instead. As far as this flea market goes, I will not be returning there because it is disappointing.

What was suppose to be a pleasant morning was met with harassment from security. it was very surreal when Im being questioned and lectured on something that I had no clue as to what he was talking about... After I explain this. He never corrected just keep going and going.. The security guard is a heavy set gentlemen and I have heard others complain about the same person.

Arrived early on a Saturday morning. Parking was $2. There were hardly any vendors, it was very disappointing. There is one area for restrooms and there were plenty of stalls but the saloon doors were ridiculous and the space in between your knees and the door was tight! There is an air conditioned enclosed restaurant. Its very cold in there and the food is mediocre.

This flea market was a lot of fun. There was a lot to see and do. Plus it is open on Wednesdays which is a big plus, because its a lot less busy then on Saturdays & Sundays. The parking is just fine, when I went it was SUPER busy and I found a really good parking spot. Lots of different types of booths plus everyone there seemed really friendly. Cant wait to go back!

This flea market is like a little Mexico. There are more vendors selling drug store items like soap and shaving cream, than items I was looking for such as furniture. One thing I liked is that there were several produce stands with good pricing on fruits and veggies. Also, it costs $1 per person.

Unless you live in the area dont make a special trip to this flea market. Not much that cant be found at any other flea market or farmers market in the area. There is a $2 entrance fee. Bring cash as most vendors dont accept credit/bank cards. There is a $6 surcharge to use the ATM machine.

This flea market is really a haven for good deals , however the parking is horrid ; the security, (constables) are lax, no control over nothing; they just want to be in the guard shack;lay low ;and get their pay and move on...

Awesome deals a lot of vendors out all throughout the week. Easy in and out. Great food at the snack bar. Recommend getting there early due to the warm weather. Always go on Sundays for the full experience.

You can get good deals but you must get there early in the morning. Some sellers will sell at a price close to the one in the store. Parking has improved.

Not a whole lot of variety, mostly just junk. This was probably due to the weather. Some of the asking prices were the same as going to a chain store.
