SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK! This place is a hot bed of criminal activity that thrives on the lack of cameras/ understaffed security. No one will tell you that because it will ruin the "luxury" reputation of this place. This shopping center has no cameras and gangs of petty criminals. The criminals of San Antonio know there are no cameras and thrive on this. These thugs sit in the cars, and in the stores working in teams to watch security and customers. They roam the parking lot breaking into vehicles and damaging customers cars in the process. Dont learn the hard way like I did. When I reported the crime nobody was surprised and even explained how the criminals get away with the crime. The Quarry wants the people of San Antonio to spend money shopping here which is supposed to be high end but cant spend the money for more security and CAMERAS. The patrons protection is the last thing these people care about. No cameras in 2017 is unacceptable, and irresponsible. What happens when one of these thieves gets bold and attacks someone outright? It has probably already happened, but the reputation of this place is more important...facts be damned. If people knew how bad and frequent the crime was here theyd stop going. While I was reporting my issue another womans purse was stolen with her car keys in them.

Great shopping area. Clean. Good food. Coffee at this Starbucks isnt always exactly how it should be. Whole Foods is my favorite except for the management. And some of the holier than thou patrons who shop here. The supposed GM of Whole Foods has one of the worst business ethics/common sense that Ive ever come across. Do you have an item that can ONLY be bought at their store but you have this item in bulk? Most people dont save receipts, especially on baby items. If you dont have a receipt but want to keep all of that money IN STORE when you return the clearly unused, clearly unopened, and not even close to expired items...you are SOL!!! They will not honor their own policy. And when you ask for the number to corporate offices, you are lied to straight to your face and given the number of that same incompetent woman...and she never even answers the phone. Call many times over the span of a month or two and THEN shell call you back after youve gotten sufficiently annoyed enough to leave an irritated voicemail. Oh yes...and shell basically black ball you from trying to take the items to the ONLY OTHER WHOLE FOODS IN ALL OF SA, by calling them and telling them not to honor your return. So all that money? Down the drain for you and into their competitors pocket!

The Alamo Quarry is a great little shopping spot, where you can quite literally park and shop for hours. The wide assortment of shops available is quite different from most shopping centers Ive seen, ranging from the "found EVERYWHERE" places like Bath and Body Works and Old Navy, to slightly more obscure places, and lots of kitschy little boutiques. Theres also a Trader Joes and Whole foods. In addition, the food options in the area are fantastic. There is quite literally something for everyone. Fast food is covered with Five Guys, Chipotle, Urban Taco, Order Up, Jamba Juice, and Subway. Coffee is freeflowing between two Starbucks and a Corner Bakery. Then you can step it up a notch with Canyon Cafe, California Pizza Kitchen, Pei Wei, and two sushi places, and thats just to start. Throw in the Hofbrau and the Wine Dive, and you have late night stops as well. Round it out with the Regal Theatre, and youre all set. I love to stick around until its dark, as they often light up the area, as well. Great for regular, casual shopping.

I just had a horrible experience at the Alamo Ranch location. After waiting in line for ever I was told I couldnt get a refund on a product that had been purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas. My brother bought my granddaughter a charm bracelet and a charm for Christmas and she received a braclelet from someone else as well. I wanted to keep the charm but I wanted a refund on the bracelet. We had a gift receipt but my brother had purchased it on his credit card and therefore they wouldnt give me a cash refund. This is Christmas everyone uses their credit cards this is a ridiculous policy this just makes people have to buy from them. I think this company has got to a point they are to big for their britches. In the past I have purchased a lot from this company but I will never buy from them again and I will make sure I tell everyone. I can remember when James Avery purchased his first location so I have been around for a long time. This put a real damper on my granddaughters Christmas.

Good selection of stores, clean and well maintained, though near the back the smell of the dumpsters is very bad. They decorate for winter holidays (Christmas) the cinema is normally well maintained and clean. Upscale feel. One thing that bothers me is the parking lot. It seems like 80% of the parking spots are designated compact car... we live in Texas where almost everyone has a big truck. I drive a mini van but even I have to find bigger spots or park in the back in order to fit. On a side note, sometimes the train will stop on the tracks stopping traffic for up to an hour sometimes. I recommend not going here before you have plans elsewhere otherwise you could be trapped and late.

I love that this is an outdoor shopping center as opposed to an indoor one. Between the movie theater, grocery store, restaurants, and retail shops there are plenty of reasons to come here and its nice that you can just come for one or two reasons and get in and out without having to walk through a whole mall. Their is plenty of parking, but the layout of the market could have been better. The parking on the northern part of the market often gets full and congested, making for some unpleasant parking experiences. Its not a problem if you dont mind walking, but can be if you have disabilities and the few handicapped spaces on that side are taken.

Management disappeared during an emergency and left us to fend for ourselves. When they finally came out 40 minutes later to refund our tickets they were throwing major attitude shouting instructions. Aside from that the theater was really smelly like mold and gym socks so it already wasnt the best experience I have had at the movies. I could have gone to any other theater, paid less and had a nicer and safer experience. If they cant handle a bad weather situation then I cant imagine what they would do in other situations.....yes I can on second thought, leave us to fend for ourselves....smh

Alamo Quarry Market has very limited options I noticed very popular place to go but if youre looking for something in the mid-range price range youre not going to find it this is more of a place for high-end shopping no its not Versace or anything like that but if youre not going to find a Rue 21 or Charlotte Russe or an agaci in this place you were mostly department store and specialty stores but it is a nice Market dont get me wrong the parking is a little hectic but i just dont go often just for whole foods
