I wanted to first start off by saying that i have been going to First Eye Care in Bedford, Tx for years and have always had a great experience!!! With that said, i recently visited the office in Roanoke, Tx and it was nothing less then exceptional!!! From the moment i walked in the associate at the front assisted me immediately, both the nurse and Dr did a great job explaining and walking me through the exam, and the receptionist at the end assisted me with ordering contacts. I would recommend this office to anyone including my own family, if you are hesitant based off the reviews from years ago dont be, those were from the previous business at this location.

I called to ask questions about my insurance and was greeted and attended to on the phone with utmost professionalism. They took their time to tell me a few options. It was so easy to get in for an appointment! Dr. Pieper and her staff are all really neat people...make you feel so warm and comfortable. Dr. Pieper takes the necessary time with you and never makes you feel rushed. She took extra care in ensuring my contacts would be the right fit and focus. I would strongly recommend this eye care office to anyone. In fact, when I returned to work I was singing her praises! Thanks, Dr. Pieper and Staff!

Just moved to the area. Had an appointment with Dr. Blake Hughes. It was very thorough, he was very clear in explaining the results. Yes, there is an optional $30 upcharge for an additional test. It is very clearly noted in the new patient paperwork. Not having to dilate your eyes, and a better look to manager your eye health ...I think it is well worth it. From start to finish – no problems – good service. Would definitely recommend. I did not order glasses from there, so rating is for office visit only.

If they had a negative I would rate them. Horrible customer service and they don't want any business. The two that sit up front want to do nothing more than sit on thier butts and chase away business. They had what could have been 3 potential paying customers and treated us very poorly. I have been in customer service 28 years and would not have been that unproffessional. Now we have talked to other people and this seems to be normal behavior there

Eye doctors are good but the front desk is horrendous. I dont believe Ive ever had to deal with worst service on a continuous basis. I kept thinking maybe they were just having a bad day, but with 5 people in the family using the place I found it was every time. They were the closest to my home but we will find a new eye doctor. After 3 years and no improvement in the front desk, its time to move on.

It sincerely bothers me when people like the ones that work the front desk at this place have a job when so many others dont. I felt a sincere ambivalence bordering on sheer spite towards me as a customer, which let me know to give my business to someone who wants it.

They are under new management and have two new front desk associates. The feel for the place is open, warm and inviting. The doctors are unbelievably helpful and along with all the other associates as well.

The eye doctor did a great job making sure my RX was correct, the people in the frames center were also very professional and helpful. Ive delt with them twice now and always a good experience.

Went in for a routine super basic exam expecting a normal $10 copay. In the middle of the exam I was told I had to pay an additional $30 or be forced to have my eyes dilated.
