If the option were possible to leave no stars, I would. Be weary of insurance fraud and incompetence when visiting this clinic. If your insurance company needs documentation stating you received your annual eye exam services from Premier Eye Care & Optical be cautions of the inept, rude, and above all unprofessional staff. This clinic had no problem or shame billing my wifes insurance company for my annual exam, but the incompetent staff did have a problem when I asked if they could sign my Wellness Verification Form. This form is an incentive from my wifes insurance company, (who by the way, in case you forgot contributes to the existence of your business), so that next year when I complete my annual eye exam AGAIN, I will be offered a discount. At the end of my visit, I asked the receptionist if she could sign the form, and she blatantly told me No, because I needed to complete "more test", and they would not be signing the form until I did. The moronic receptionesit acts as if she knows how to do her job, and when my wife (the Policy Holder) returned to this clinic and demanded to get the form signed, because we had already received the COB that clearly indicated THEY had gotten paid, the receptionist attempted to treat my wife like an imbecile, and insult her intelligence by lying to her. We may not be a big deal to Premier Eye Care & Optical, but guess who wont be lining their pockets with our insurance next year.

Im afraid I have to echo other users claims of unethical business practices. I have worked in the eyecare field for over five years as an optician and optometric assistant, and recently went to Premier for an exam after a recent move. I was disturbed to discover that the office itemizes the cost for vision screenings that are considered part of a standard eye exam in any reputable optometrists office-- namely the visual field test (or FDT), which looks for aberrations in a patients peripheral vision. I have never worked for or visited an optometrist who charged extra for this screening, and premiers price-- $120, more than the cost of an exam-- is ludicrous, not to mention borderline criminal, for a screening that every person undergoing an exam is entitled to. To put it in perspective, this is like your primary care doctor charging $120 to take your blood pressure. On top of this, they charge over $70 for retinal photography-- an additional service with an industry standard price of $29-39. As a vision care professional and someone who believes in ethical business and medical practices, I cannot strongly urge patients enough to steer clear of this business until they change their practices.

The only reason Id recommend this place is because of the Dr. She was AMAZING with my three year old and took all of our concerns very seriously. The rest of her staff, however is lacking. When we were asked the reason of the visit we were met with eye rolls and general disregard (only to find out after the appointment and everything that we were right to be concerned). They outsource the making of their lenses, and while this isnt necessarily bad, it took them 2x as long to get my daughters glasses than what they told us when we purchased them. Almost a month later and we are looking at getting a second pair for my daughter, however we need them ASAP due to a mishap with the first pair and their office isnt open over the weekends. Ive been trying to get her script (which they didnt give me to start with) and have yet to receive it almost 6 HOURS after asking. They arent all bad, though. The DR was great (as previously stated) and the prices they have for Kids glasses were amazing (pay for frames and you get the lenses free). If it wasnt for the inefficiency and un-organization of the rest of the staff Id recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible experiences! I has just moved to the area and chose this doctor based on good reviews in October. I came in with a eye problem and brought my extensive eye history with me. The office staff was so rude and they shredded my original documents. Then they tried to lie to me by giving me copies of my documents that I couldnt even read because of black lines through it. Finally someone told me they shreded them and would cally doctor to semd me knew ones. I never received new documents. When I saw the doctor, she did not even read my history I brought them and insisted I didnt tell her anything, but it was all on my documents that she had copies of now. She wanted to continue to run test after test. I had to get another opinion, which turned out to be completely different from her plan. It took over two months to correct my problem when it could have otherwise been resolved in 7 days.

My husband and I had our first eye exams, and we loved it here! They were super friendly and understandable! I came in, in the morning and after reconsidering the glasses I had chose, I called to see if I could come in and re-try on just to make sure I made the right decision. They allowed me and let me try on all kinds of pairs! They doctor was very informative and helped me understand things about my eye exam. (I came in for glasses and contacts, also my glasses I had chose were on hold)! I am so happy I found a great place to come and get my annual eye exams! I have also recommended my mother in law and the rest of the family!! Thank you Premier Eye Care!

Dr. Ronnie Kim and her staff at Premier Eye Care are exemplary. From the time I called for an appointment to the new eye glasses that are now on my face, I experienced a level of professionalism that was mind blowing!! Dr. Kim provided perfection in her examination, provided insight into my future issues and assured me of remedies available. I can honestly say that never in 57 years of my personal experience with eye care provided, absolutely no one has provided me this level of compassion, education and solutions. I have already told everybody in my circle of influence to go to Premier Eye Care for all their vision needs with total confidence.

I liked the doctor, but I also have to echo what is going on in this office with respect to billing. Not only was my eye insurance bill, but my health insurance also and I still paid over $500 for glasses! They performed tests I did not sign for on the patient form. I was blind sided with another doctor visit fee after THEY asked I come back when my insurance was verified. I paid and it seems the insurance was billed and paid as well. I wont be going back and I will be contacting my insurance companies to determine what they were billed for versus what I paid for.

Dr. Kim and her staff are excellent. The clinic office is beautiful. Staff is experienced and knowledgeable. Dr. Kim cares about your health. She’s not interested in check”checking you eyes” and sending you on your way. She explains over-all health of the eye. The quality of products is beyond a 5 star rating. I recommend anyone to take a trip here, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent experience. This Dr took her time and she explained everything in detail. This prescription for glasses and contacts were the most effective Ive ever received. I heartily recommend this practice.
