Drs. Mark and Arlene Schwartz provide an unparalleled level of eye care services in a warm, compelling and friendly environment. Each member of the staff treated us (wife and me) not as customer but as a member of their family. The office staff works like a team. From sign in to sign out, your status passes seamlessly throughout the multi-stage examination customized for your particular needs. A thorough eye exam is an understatement – complete and to the point. Time to discuss with Dr. Mark or Arlene your situation, test results and next step(s) was exemplary. Instrumentation to examine, test and measure your eyes is state-of-the-art and kept aseptic. The layout of the office was not haphazard but designed with a logical flow in mind. Sort of a 360-degree circle, you never backup, but transgress station to station, ending up where you began. Nice attention to detail! The waiting room, which I occupied for less than five minutes prior to the start of my examination, afforded maximum comfort. The final eyeglass section was full of glasses for all occasions and personality types. The displays were neither cluttered, monotonous or out of reach. The room complete with a modern-day version of an open-air bell tower filled the space with natural light. In my case, Dr. Mark diagnosed a sight threating retinal tear. By the time, I called the Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery Ophthalmologist recommended by Dr. Mark, my test results were in his hands. A day or two later, I underwent surgery to repair the tear. Had it not been for Mr. Mark’s diagnosis and sounds of alarm, who knows what could have happened? We been going to Drs. Mark and Arlene for about 20 years. I see Dr. Mark, my wife sees Dr. Arlene. My wife also subscribes to all the above PS. I was director of intraocular lens (IOL) development at Alcon labs, and led the team that developed Alcon’s 1st generation Acrosof® IOL, eye implant for cataract surgery, one of the most successful IOLs on the market. After receiving new vision insurance I had to search for a new Dr. After reading reviews for the office and Dr. I decided to set up an appointment. I called and the lady who answered my call answered very unethustically and I had to have her repeat who I was calling because I couldnt understand her. Which obviously frustrated her. I gave her my info and asked her to check my copay so I know exactly what I had to pay with my insurance. She put me on hold and then came back and said $20, but I asked with my specific insurance because I paid $0 at First Eye Care in Hurst. She said in a rude tone, yes! I put in YOUR info and thats what it cost. I said okay, can I please speak to someone else and she said "good I dont want to talk to you either!" I work in client services and I would never speak to a potential client that way. Still I set an appointment, but today chose to cancel that appointment and go with a much nicer and friendlier facility down the road (First Eye Care Hurst) where my copay is $0.

Prior to reaching Rose on the phone at Advantage EyeCare when shopping for a place to purchase glasses for my husband, all I encountered were non-smiling voices, reading off information. Thank goodness there are still businesses who know their reputation is built on genuine courtesy, service, friendliness, and price from the get-go. Rose was all that, as her smile came across on the phone as she asked me questions to best help us and make the appointment. We found those same traits with the staff at the appointment. Kudos to you, Drs. Mark and Arlene Schwartz! In this ole crazy world, yall took the time with us, my husband received his glasses when promised -- with courteous updates along the way -- and all at a fair price. And the manner in which it was all done is most refreshing. Thanks so much!

Ive had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Schwartz and his ENTIRE staff. Theyve been nothing but polite, customer-service-oriented, friendly employees who really put me at ease. Dr. Shwartz is the BEST eye doctor Ive ever had in my 20+ years of wearing contacts/glasses, and Ive been to a lot. Both doctors take their time with each patient, explain everything thoroughly, and treats you like a human, not a number. Very highly recommended - will definitely keep Advantage Eyecare as my first choice optometrist!!

I recently had to get my first exam and pair of glasses. I was nervous and couldnt stand the puff of air but the girl who did the testing was really nice and got it out of the way quickly. I was concerned that I wouldnt find any glasses that would look right ( I have a round face). The office had a large selection of frames and I actually ended up getting two pairs. I would def go back again. I think glasses might be my new accessory!!

My Parents and I have been customers of Advantage Eye Care for 10 plus years. I have moved to Austin Texas and I still use Advantage Eye Care because of their nice and tenured employees. I have my eye exam done in Austin Texas and they fax it over to Advantage Eye Care and I place my order for my contacts and they ship them to me. Never a billing issue or over charge, I love the staff!!!!! You guys keep doing a good job.

Advantage Eyecare not only has a kind professional staff, but no matter my needs contacts or glasses they have everything. As a mother whos vision has changed every year I have never had a problem getting what I need. It is a nice office, the Drs are great and extremely informative, the staff is awesome, and whether it was glasses or contacts I was well taken care of. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Saw Dr Schwartz for years , he is excellent , but changed to another practice because the support staff was rude and unprofessional . My family had several problems with his assistant and when we tried to speak to the office manager about it , the assistant pushed her way in front of her and yelled at me and the office manager .
