This is what a bicycle shop used to be, back before all the branding & excessive marketing... Back before pushy, know-it-all salespeople would make you feel stupid for asking legitimate questions. I think he lives in a house in the back, because he stopped everything to make sure his kids got off the school bus that stopped right in front of his shop. I know that has nothing to do with bicycles, but how cool is that??? And what does that say about this guys character? This was a very laid back environment, where I didnt mind waiting outside on the porch, looking around at all the artsy bicycle stuff that was hanging everywhere, while he worked on my bike in the back. Took maybe 5 minutes to fix the seat, with a used part he only charged me $5 for. Then he didnt even charge me for the labor. At most bike shops, even if it takes 30 seconds, theyre going to charge you for the labor. I bought a kids scooter on the way out, & he charged me what I wouldve paid at a garage sale. Then he gave my girlfriend one free. This was the first good bicycle shop experience Ive had in a long time. And the fact that this is a small, locally owned business positively reaffirms that from now on, I will visit this place first for all my bicycle needs.

When I bought an old tandem on Craigslist a few years back it was way too difficult to use the original shifters. It wasnt worth spending a bunch on it, but for a very reasonable price he switched out the cassette and shifters and got it working like a modern bike. Over the years since hes always done a good job getting me ready for MS150 or bike round the bay. Had a tumble a couple of weeks back, so must take the bike in for a check up. Highly recommended.

After a terrible experience just a few miles away, we stopped in here to find a bicycle seat for me. Came in with the kids and met Matthew Morris. Best. decision. ever. Super helpful, glad to answer questions and didnt make us feel stupid, reasonable prices and legit "bike shop" atmosphere-like a bike shop from the 70s and 80s- not generic and branded. Real work happens here. When we left, our 14 year old said, "the next bike I get...I want from there."

Great shop, great family owned local small business. We own 2 bikes built by Matt and 2 more being built now. Lisa is always willing to help with anything you bring their way. Words can not describe the level of service and accountability we have received. You are not forgotten once he closes the cash register, and you will feel like family when you walk in the door. before you spend "Big Box Store" money go see Matt and Lisa.

Top notch, friendly, quick service. He has fixed my sons bike and my wifes bike. He even showed me how to straighten a rim, tho I dont think I could do it if I tried. It is a bit out of the way, but way worth it. Beats the heck out of a much closer / convenient / way more expensive Bike Barn. The place is a shack with bikes EVERYWHERE! AWESOME!!! This is a true mom and pop shop. Support small local businesses.

Brought two older Jamis Aragons into Matthew for a tune, one needed the back derailed cable hooked back up and adjusted. He did a great job and the pricing was great. This is the best game in the entire humble Kingwood Porter Cleveland Atascocita Houston area. I live in the middle of nowhere, and in the middle of nowhere is this great bike shop where they actually give you fantastic customer service and have plenty of options for you. Excellent service, a ton of parts available and fast cheap repairs. With a shop like this around there is no reason to go to any other bike shops. In my experience every shop in the Kingwood/Atascocita is way over priced and dont have the dedication to bikes like the owner here does.

This place of off the beaten path, but definitely worth a visit. The guy who runs it is very knowledgeable and does excellent service. We own 6 bikes and have been taking them here for tune ups and repairs since he opened. Great service and fair prices.
