Today I arrived at my local WalMart In Port Isabel Texas at around 630pm. Drove to the back Pulling my work trailer in need of a tire. I walked in where there was no one in the counter area. So I look back and walked back out to the garage area where there was one mechanic at work. I asked about my tire problem and he said no problem Sr. let me just take care of 1 oil change I need to get to before you. Fair inuf.. He is done with the oil change around 650pm, walks in charges the man and off he goes. The mechanic then comes over looks at the tire size goes back finds one installs it, mounts the tire back on my trailer, all done by 715pm. Good Job. I then stand by the register to pay, he told me early that the tire was 112. plus tax. well I stand and stand for around 15 min. Hes out in the garage closeing doors putting tires inn and closeing doors. So I walk out and ask can I please pay need to get to work. He walks inn and said No the paper has not come out yet. I asked what paper? I have to wait for the paper to come out, I need a manager to do it. OK..... So another 10 min go by and NO manager for secret pass number. After 25 min I told the mechanic I am going to leave 126.00 in cash right here I have to GO. He said OK but I will have to call the police if you do because it mite be little more. I then asked him a gen I would like to pay for my tire. He said you cant yet until manager comes and I called him 25 min ago so its not my falt. After standing like a pendeho for 35 min or so i decided to go look for this manager person my self. Well need less to say I never found this manager person But at around 800pm He the manager calls and gives another person the secret pass number so as this paper will come out and I can get charged. What a Joke The mechanic person made no effort in locating a manager he was to busy closeing his area. And the manager must be a big head like the one in wizard of oz, and does all is work from one area. My local walmart, Yes i will go there a gen, because thats all we have in this little town, But I will never buy tires or go to the tire area for any service. There a Joke.

Register 9. Cashier Maria Cruz. Ive never heard of a policy where every single person with u has to have their id on them in order for one person to purchase alcohol. I went to the Store with my husband and kids. He was buying/paying for groceries and a pack of alcohol for himself, cashier asked for his id and then asked for mine.. which I didnt have cause I didnt have my wallet since I wasnt purchasing anything, nor placed my hands on Any of the items he was purchasing. my kids who are above the age of 17 didnt have their ids either since we are on a family vacation and dont see why they would need their ids as well. So for those of you with your families who are grocery shopping and buying an alcoholic beverage. Policy is that if you dont have your kids nor your id on you, you have to wait in the car.

Check the dates on your food selections, its very often outdated. I stand at the customer service counter in the back for layaways and pickups sometimes for 15 minutes before someone responds. Some of the staff do not speak English so it can be very hard to get assistance sometimes. Their food selections are odd. They sell out of some American staples like instant pancake mix, stovetop stuffing, etc because they dont stock enough of it, yet they have a big selection of tortillas lol. When I shop at this Walmart, I feel like Im in a foreign country. However, they are nice and they try hard and their beauty shop is outstanding.

Low prices. However I want to return the large umbrella that is missing a pole in the guy behind the counter told me I should have done it the same day. I explained to him that I was on the beach and I didnt want to drive all the way back to do it the same day. I dont think One Day More is going to hurt. Other than that I love Walmart.

Great Walmart store - easy to find things - staff are ALWAYS helpful and customer service desk is great. One tip when buying tires or goods from the automotive store buy the lifetime warranty or extended guarantees - they are worth there weight in gold..- ask anyone who has had a flat!

Worst receiving dock imanagable. Took 45 min to get a manager to come back then persisted to lie and say he was with a customer. 45 min with a customer? Also called 5 min ahead to let them know I would be here. Place is disorganized and obviously needs better management

There was one single lane open. Everyone is buying groceries for the week so no one can/wants to do self checkout. We were in line for at least 20 minutes. It was ridiculous. Sucks that this is normally how all Walmarts are. Multiple lanes but only have a couple open.

Full buggy and a jinky self checkout. Employees talking while it took longer to scan 10 items than it took to fill the buggy. Save yourself time and trouble, go to The Marlin or HEB. Service here is worse than your normal Wal-Mart and that is saying something.

Shout out to Jaime and his crew in automotive. Our battery died and he came and jump started it and we were able to drive it so they can switch it out. We live 5 hours away and they took no time switching it out so it was a real blessing. Thanks guys!

2 registers open for the entire store aside from self checkout. Each line has at least 15 people waiting to checkout and the manager just stares at the lines without opening another register. Horrible service

You know, what can you say.... its Walmart. Cheap prices but not big on customer service. This walmart allows boondockers, just contact the manager and dont be a parking space hog.

Its a nice small Walmart with lots of beach related items. Customer service could be improved but its just fine if you know what you need and are good with self checkout.
