My husband, who is disabled, came in for some toilet paper. He asked one of the employees if they could assist him in carrying it to the counter because he was on crutches and didnt have the use of his hands. The employee advised they werent allowed to assist customers in carrying their items. When my husband proceeded to scoot the toilet paper towards the counter so he could check out the clerk yelled at him. Very disappointed with the customer service (I mean I get it you work at Family Dollar and customer service sucks but geez help a guy out hes got one leg and is on crutches) we wont be going back.

Nice selection. Good prices. Cashier was talking, socially, to whomever she was listening to through her earpiece the entire 20 minutes I was in store. Occasionally walking through isles and back to cashiering. She would interrupt her social chatter to tell the customer what was owed and then thanks. How is this representing Family Dollar in a positive way? Are social skills nonexistant these days?
