I normally have a great experience with Discount Tire. This time not so much. I am frustrated and annoyed and it seems like there is just one broken promise after another. Well first off I came into Discount Tire in Cedar Hill on 7/31/17 to purchase a single rim for my car. I had originally ordered my rims from this location; so it only made sense to go back to the same location to get a new one. When I got there I gave my information and was told the rim was out of stock in Texas and would need to be ordered form Atlanta. (No Biggie) I was given a loaner rim and was told that my rim would be in on 8/2/17 (date Discount tire employee assured me). Just to ensure I gave them some time to get it in I came in Thursday 8/3/17. I left early from work Thursday to make sure I got there before they closed at 6:00pm. When I got there I was told that they did not have my rim yet and to try again Friday (today) or Saturday. Upset at the fact that I left work early for this and made a blank trip didnt sit well, but I didnt fuss I just said ok and left. Well not trying to make the same mistake again I call in advance today to make sure they have my rim in. The first guy got my info and placed me on hold. He asked was the number I was calling from a good number. I told him yes and to give me a call back. Needless to say that call never came. I waited 2 hours to call back only to be told that they have the wrong rim and it will be another 3 to 4 days!! The guy on the phone tells me well you can just ride on our loaner rim until we get it!! I dont want yours I WANT MINE... you know... the one I PAID for already!! This is the most annoyed and frustrated I have been with Discount Tire since ever. If I decide to remain a customer after I finally get my service completed it will not be this location. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..... (edited update) today is 8/8/17 and I still dont have it..

Have been a Discount Tire customer for a long time. They have always rotated my tires for free, even if they were new tires not purchased from them that came on my car. I always thought this was good business, and I have always gone to discount tire to buy tires when I need tires. Well, today they charged me $40.00 to rotate my tires. I think they should have told me before they did the work that their policy has changed. Ive never even shopped anywhere else when I need tires, just go to Discount Tire because of their great customer service. Next time I will shop around before automatically buying from them.

This place was totally amazing. I went in to get my two front tires replaced (they were shredding) and went to pay and my card was not working for some reason and I finally got it to pay a little over half and it would not do any more so the extremely nice man named Moses who was helping me told me it would be fine and just let me pay what I had paid already! I even pulled out what cash I had and he would not let me pay anymore! It was extremely nice of him and I will definitly be back for tires in the future! And Ill also be sure my card is working or that I have the cash on hand!

After a horrible experience at the location on Inwood and Lemmon the Cedarhill location saved a long time customer and regained my business. From the initial phone call with Coby to make sure their location had the Nitto 275/40/20 till the last step regaining my car from the installer was 5 Star treatment and how Discount Tire should be represented!!! Thanks Cedarhill location and I definitely will be returning to this location! Thanks Coby for a great experience...

Spent nearly $650 on a few new tires, then waited over an our for them to even bring my car into the garage. They told me the wait would be 45 minutes, maximum. Frustrated by watching everyone who had come in after I had get their cars fixed before me, I asked for a refund, only to have them magically pull my car into the garage. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. Not sure Ill be returning to this location again.

Showed up maybe 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and within 5 minutes of speaking with Lamarr, my car was in a bay getting new tires fitted. Took maybe 15 minutes for them to fit the new tires and put my wheels back on my car. Even though I bought cheap tires I will definitely be coming back to this discount tire when I upgrade my stock wheels. Service was quick and staff is friendly.

They missed a nail in my tire, had to return the next day and have it removed. They also forgot to spin/rotate my tire, this caused car to shake. They re-fix my concerns, no charge. Management needs to have clients input to improve services.

this place is awesome. the service is accurate. the customer service guys are energized and helpful. Ask for Lamarr when you come in. he is excellent and knowledgeable about all tires and recommendations.

When Jaymes the General Manager is there things run smoothly but when he is not their it can be chaotic.
