The worst customer service experience Ive ever had. I dont need them to smile, but they can be nice, correct? The lady at the register treated me like I was there to steal from them. She behaved as if I had done something bad to her in the past. I asked for fresh meat from inside, not from the display area. She said all is same and the ones in the display area are packed today. But I found out they were packed the day before. Then she got me meat from inside. And she billed me/lb more than the ones in the display area. When asked, first she said it is because the meat I got was freshly cut (so, was the display ones not?). Then she said it was different kind of meat and hence more. Wow....what an experience. Hope she grows up some day.

I read the reviews and thought this place would be good. I have agree with last reviewer, they do prey on unsuspecting shoppers. I guess if you show them the slightest hint that you are not familiar with goat or lamb meat they give you horrible meat. The meat I bought was tough even after pressure cooking and 20 minutes of boiling. I would recommend the meat place in Richardson, next to Subzi Mandi, been there twice and both times it was fresh and tender.

Im not sure why people complain. You get what you ask for. Ive been shopping here for last 7 years (lamb meat) and I cant complain. Dont expect great customer service since there is difference in the coultures, so people might not smile all of the time and they wont ask if you need help, but even that changed in last couple of months, which makes me believe they are trying to step their game up. Bought Goat meat from this store, and reached home to find it was old and awful, with a sticky layer on it. The two Butchers in the back are complete con men, preying on unsuspecting shoppers, trying to pass off expired bits and pieces leftover goat meat unless you pay very careful attention. I am boycotting this store for that reason.

A nice shop for fresh meat - we bought chicken from here two times in last 1 month and it was really fresh and nicely cut. The owner is so nice and helpful. answers all your questions very patiently. We will buy from here again. Giving 4 rating for meat (chicken) - I am not sure of the other items here.

Star Meat Plano was the worst experience in our life. The owners are absolute snobs and arroganthas never once cracked a smile.staff, have no respect whatsoever The store is messy.Bad Meat.old meat. Wont go back .Expire item.bad management.Food Inspectors should close the store.

Good clean meat, chicken. Tried bunch of places in dfw area. This is probably the best. Aslam baryani to have on same visit is a good idea too :)
