This store has a horrid reputation among its workers. I graduated from college with my technical degree and applied here. It took months to simply reach a manager, even if I went there on foot several times. They would always be too busy to see me for some reason or another. They moved my interview no less than three times the first time I had applied. Then did not even let me know they hired a current employee already, when I went in. The second time I applied I had the interview moved only once, though this time I made it in. After waiting over an hour after being there perfectly on time, they asked me very few PC tech related questions, and more personal questions than anybody should have to ask. I felt like they were joking with me. One of the two managers simply kept turning red and looking away. It was horribly rude. I was told they would call me whiten two weeks to tell me if I had earned the position with Geek Squad. I ended up calling them, as I received no call. Finally after many attempts I had reached a third manager, whom told me that the spot was filled by a current employee yet again. Online the job opened a third time right after I was told this(not shocking, that the ones they hire do not last long), and despite my feelings toward the people there I kept on for I really need a job. They sent me an email saying that I was simply "denied because my qualifications were not up to standard for Geek Squad". How could this be true? As I had just done this and they were plenty fine then? Fact of the matter is, they hire their friends, and fill decent spots with people that they want regardless of skills. Probably based more on looks, than ability. People in that store hardly smiled at the Geek Squad desk and were rude to the customer that came in. When that angry at a job, I see now, why that particular store has such awful reviews when it is filled with people that do not give a damn about the customer, or whom is hires in general. I recommend you go to another electronics store for your business. I know I am burning my theoretical chance at earning money there, but I believe in better business ethics that was our teachers main goal in college. Do not waste time with such a backward group of people that lack the professionalism and customer empathy, but rather go to Frys electronics. Or at least a different best buy. Feel free to ask me anything else. I have been scorned plenty by this store.

My husband and I bought a washer and dryer with our Best Buy credit card unfortunately on delivery we realized that it did not fit our laundry room, we returned them last Friday and wanted to purchase a camera as a birthday present however our returned hasnt been credited yet, we went to the store and were told we had to contact the bank. We called the bank and we were told that the return should have been credited immediately as we no longer have the washer and dryer in our possession and it should work the same way as if we were returning something at the store. We were told by the bank to go back to the store so we went back to Best Buy only to be treated with a bunch of "I dont know you need to contact the bank". This was very frustrating because the bank and Best Buy were just passing the blame on each other without even trying to resolve our issue. We asked to speak to a manager to explain the situation and the manager an Asian with fake eye color contacts and short hair was so extremely rude, came up to the register with attitude and did not even look our way but instead just looked at the computer screen from the customer service rep said "thats going to take 5-7 business days" and walked away. Dealing with both the bank and Best Buy was hell. I can honestly say we regret even trying to purchase another item from them and we will not be going back to this store.

Only If I can give this no stars. I went today ready to buy a washer and the men in charge was so rude and didnt feel the need to find what we were looking for. As soon as I asked the first time for help I knew immediately that it was going to go down hill. And then I go to the front to talk to the manager and seriously the guy was telling me basically that there wasnt another manager I walked off but then I went back basically saying I need to talk to a manager and then he barely even wanted to help. Omg worse experience ever but I did do my compliant and I went to sears outlet and go a great deal! So forget you best buy and thank you for helping me save money. And that guy in the picture it was him. He was not a help and Best Buy needs to replace these people please

My husband and I went in to get a navigation for me to for work. The young man that opened the case said they had to hold on to it at the desk because we wanted to look at the phones. When we were ready to check out we went to the Home Theater Desk to check and several employees walked pass us and did not say any thing. One young man walked passed us 4-5 times and one of the rime he even walked behind the desk and looked at us and walked off. After 10 mins of waiting my husband went behind the desk and picked up the navigation and we went to the front and checked out. I will never go back to that Best Buy. The employees in the Home Theater section are rude and are hard to find for help, if you ever find them.

On June 16th my wife and I decided to go buy a new home computer and decided Best Buy was the place to go due to their reputation in customer service. Sad to say the only person to greet us there was the loss prevention employee at the entrance. After 15 minutes of standing around and looking at computers made eye contact with one of the employees raised my hand and he just turned around and went elsewhere. We decided to leave and thank the loss prevention employee for being the only one to greet us. Took my business to the Microsoft store and bought a new desktop and accessories from them. Best Buy should consider a field trip for these employees to the Microsoft store to learn how to treat customers.

Do NOT and I repeat DO NOT open a credit card with Best Buy. I did and they started charging extensions to my current purchases without my authorization. (ie. I bought an antivirus and a year later without my knowledge after scrutinizing my account I found unauthorized charges to extend the antivirus another year). After calling Best Buy they acknowledged that it is their practice to make charges to credit card accounts to "countinue your protection :)" Bullshit. They are making unauthorized credit card charges. This is theft by deception. Does anyone know who to report this to. I will not drop this until Best Buy stops this practice and publicly acknowledges their theft.
