I had come in to the office ten days prior to moving out of our storage unit and filled out the required documents, like I was supposed to. I was told as long as I was out by the 1st, I wouldnt be charged any fees. Well, I was out on the 28th, which was a Friday, and I was supposed to call in to on leave a message saying I had vacated the unit. That day, I was installing a new screen door and had a piece of metal hit my left eye...literally! I was at tge ER that evening and couldnt see out of my eye, whatsoever. So, I didnt get a chance ti leave a message, BUT I DID fill out the paperwork ten days prior telling them of my move out. Because I didnt call in, I was charged for a half months rent! I called and spoke with the owner and he said there was no way for him to know I was out of the unit. I told him to check his cameras, OR do an inspection of the unit. We went around and around and he was VERY rude about everything. I will NEVER recommend anyone use his facilities because he is lacking customer service skills!

I have never posted a review but I was so disappointed with the way this place treated me I decided I should to give other people a warning I placed an offer 2 thousand less than what they were asking and the seller automatically gets an attitude and says that the ammount would not work and that it was not a "serious offer" at that point I was done with that place they need to learn how to talk to people who are willing to spend a good deal of money the way that he acted when I made the offer you would think I asked him to drop the price by 10 grand I will be more then happy to take my business else where. And my final offer was 33 for a truck they had for 34,999 an offer that was still not a "serious offer"

Not recommended, buyers beware. I bought a vehicle from these guys a while back and it had issues within two weeks. They said they had gone through it and assured me the vehicle would be "good to go" for a long time. Additionally, it became apparent that making money is much more important than taking care of the customer.

Ive dealt with a lot of used car dealers; Star of Texas is the only place Ive been that I havent left feeling greasy. Hes a straight up guy. Catch up on your pawn stars before you go, hes a good negotiator.
