The woman, I think her name is Yvette, who works at the register is one of the worst people who I have ever checked out with. Not even just as a customer service person; this was just something a terrible person in general would do. She broke one of my items and placed it in the bag without telling me she broke it and didnt apologize when faced with it later. I heard her say "oops" while she was checking out and I noted this while I was putting my items in the car. It didnt take me long to find that one of the Christmas decorations I bought, a deer, had the ear clearly knocked off and the stuffing was coming out. I think she just tossed it and the ear into the bag and handed it to me thinking I wouldnt notice. I had to wait in line again with a new one and I told her that I knew she had broken it. She saw me standing in line and I think Yvette started coming up with an excuse for herself. She pretended like she didnt break it and started looking it over like it was new to her even though it just happened. Didnt apologize, just looked at me right in the eye and tried not to look like the stupidest customer service rep ever. She didnt have to try. I cant believe a company would hire someone who tries to pull something like that on their customers. And I really hate leaving bad reviews but this situation is such garbage. So I spoke to a representative on the phone there named Paul after this happened. Paul was great. I appreciated speaking to somebody there who agreed this was something that shouldnt have happened. - Maria McCoy

The managers were beyond helpful! We bought 2 recliners and 1 had manufacturers defects. They were awesome and found another store that had one and replaced it with zero hassle! They also have a great selection! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the store is always dirty (needs a good scrubbing!) and it takes forever to check out. They never have more than 1 checker.

We love all we can get at great value here. Good source for families that need alot of food at fair prices. We shop here for great end of season sales for summer and winter. Always worth the trip.

I love big lots but...The staff are underpaid and they really show it!. Nice selection of inventory and decent quality. Stay far away from the furniture, its all junk. The rest is pretty much ok.

They used to have really great deals here lately its been going down hill. And some of the employees are very rude. But still like to stop and look and see if I can find a good deal

DVDS ! MOVIES! Its not cheaper than H.E.B.. or Walmart, on some groceries... But it is on a lot of things much better!
