My husband and I went and purchased a few things. One of those items was a bottle of wine. My husband placed everything on the belt and I just stood by his side. When the cashier scanned the bottle of wine he asked for both of our ids. I did not have mine bc we live down the street and had just made a quick convenient trip. My husband is 29 and Im 33. We asked for the manager (Douglas) and he said that I needed my ID too. I was very upset bc I made no interaction with the wine and I did not even purchase the items. If we had a 15 year old w us would they have not sold my husband the wine?! Ridiculous!! I completely understand if I was the one who touched the wine and placed on belt and purchased. So if you dont have your ID and you and your spouse are buying alcohol stay in the car or go to HEB.

Besides the prices. Horrible customer service Rude management The manager is very racial towards girls who are of a dark complexion. His name is jose. Rick and Jose dont honor the customer and their mistakes for adding non clearance items on clearance and makes them pay full price and they dont move the item. They dont even know there aisles and have zero clue about what is wic approved in their store. Horrible. And the lines! Dont even get me started.

Smaller isles, smaller carts, they only sell most popular groceries and basic supplies. Less crowded, usually a friendlier educated customer base. Employees seem very willing to help. Dont try couponing here as they dont know price matching or couponing policies. They have the Brand name of stuff and the walmart brand. No/limited specialty items.

This neighborhood Walmart is very convenient and beats having to go into town and wait in endless lines to check out. Customer service is way better and you can always find an associate if need be. Self check registers a major plus!

Great selection of produce and weekly sales that are worth checking out on their app or website. Their meat market is a highlight of the store. Very attentive butchers and a great selection organic, grass fed and range free meats.
