RGV Travels

This is the largest and nicest mall in the Rio Grande Valley. They have completed a remodel and added additional parking. That said, the narrow corridors in the mall are so cluttered with kiosks that the mall feels busy when it is actually slow. Are the Kiosks a fire hazard? I cannot believe the fire department allows these kiosks to clutter the walk ways. They make it very difficult to maneuver through this mall. The kiosks need to go! They are selling junk items, they take up valuable walking space, and they are always trying to "hawk" their products. Terribly annoying! This mall does have a wide variety of stores but the stores have terrible selections of products. The stores seem to carry a reduced inventory for this mall. The stores certainly do not have the same merchandise that I find when shopping at other malls. In the three years that I have lived in McAllen, I have visited this mall twice. Once before the remodel and the second time after the remodel. I am very disappointed in this mall. Shopping is not enjoyable and the product selection in the stores is dismal. I will continue to shop online for items that I cannot wait on and I will continue to make "shopping" trips to Houston and Dallas.

Soy de Monterrey, ahora residente de mcallen, tienen un muy buen servicio antes venia de compras solamente, mcallen esta creciendo muy rapido ahora que mucha gente de Monterrey se esta viniendo a vivr al valle en fin mas que comentario es sugerencia, copien el concepto de los malls en Monterrey ademas de ser un lugar para ir de compras haganlo recreativo pongan cines haganlo de dos pisos pongan mas cafes, sports bar etc, eso es lo que les falta, mcallen no tarda en crecer y muchooo

A place to go on dates, hang out with friends, and go with family. There are a variety of stores with a variety of styles such as Express, Gap, Hollister, Abercrombie, True Religion, Steve Madden, Macys (kids and adult), etc. There is also shopping for kids such as Disney Store, Gimboree, Abercrombie Kids, Build a Bear Workshop and more. In addition to shopping, there are also food courts and extra stands that sell different little things like jewelry, cups, makeup, hair products, creams, and so forth. Whatever you are trying to find you will most likely find it there. Any day you go, you will probably be lucky enough to get a good deal on some good stuff. Check it out!

Well im going to try to be as nice as I can about the mall and the customers. Ive lived in the valley all my life and it is a nice place to shop but theres specific days you wanna go which are monday thru thursday as early as possible. Why.. Well the tourist from out of the country think they own the place and they can be very rude ,believe me ive gotten into it with some when I was a teenager and they were adults.. They do leave their trash out in the parking lot so I feel bad for the mall workers making their job harder. So yeah it is a hit or miss. Not only at the mall but at every other store here in the valley

Amo este lugar, es lo mas hermosos del mundo y mas por las tiendas que se encuentran en ella, como la Disney Store, Build-A-Bear, Aeropostal, Holister, etc. es el lugar ideal para pasar en familia y realisar las compras de todoel tiempo, solo falta un supermercado y tendria todolo que se necesita.

I see the mall is going under a lot of construction for the extension of the mall! ,which is great . My question is why on earth spend all the money for that when you are overlooking the state of your restrooms . Every time I visited the mall in a busy time , your restrooms are a horrible . Dirty ,not functioning , a very unpleasant filthy place to be . So before spending any money on anything else I would suggest looking into it !!! Keeping the restrooms functional and updated and clean is a very important aspect of a business regardless of how many fancy storesyou bring in !!!

La plaza mall, used to be an upscale and a pleasant place to go visit for shopping or just for walk around and hang out. Today is full of shopping carts, very agresive sales people on the hallway. Lots of people and not so confortable to walk around any more. The bright side is that is expanding so hope this expansion brings more space and better customer service as some employees today are agresive and even rude. Some stores do not have Air condition and some hallways are smelly. Hope the remodeling rescue this mall as is the last one in the area.

Buen lugar para shopping, encuentras de todo, solo que estan en remodelacion los estacionamientos y esto resulta molesto porque te queda a veces muy lejos el lugar para estacionarte; Hay algunos negocios con precios muy altos, en comparacion con otros mall´s de otras ciudades.

For a shopping mall, it has a very nice cross section of low price, mid price, and semi high end merchandise specialty stores. Filled every day of the week with shoppers that have primarily made the three hour trip north from Monterrey, Mexico to buy things they cannot in their country. It is a bit crowded at almost any hour, so if you have issues with large crowds, there may be a drawback there, but other than that, this is a nice place to shop. Im a guy that doesnt like to shop, but when I do, its at La Plaza most of the time.

I love this mall its actually the biggest 1 here in the valley. Dont go to often since I live really close by but its always packed. The really nice thing about this mall is that there always updating it (remodeling) keep up with the new trends. Now there expanding towards the north side facing expressway 83 (IH-2) and they finished up the 3 story high parking garage facing 10th St. Very well lit at night. The restaurants are delicious too. Good place to walk around with the family and eat sum treats or drink a smoothie.

Al fin Mujer me encanta Las comprar aqui en Plaza Mall uno puede encounter todo lo que necesitas riends como Dillards Macys etc. Satisfacen cualquier gusto exigente.ademas tienes Restaurantes para los paladares exigentes. Me encanta el lugar.

Es un lugar excelente para ir de compras, la verdad si encuentras muchas ofertas, muy buenas marcas de calidad. Es un lugar muy agradable, hay bancas donde descansar y baños distribuidos por todo el lugar, que es bastante grande.

The greatest congregation of retail clothing stores in one location. Small businesses in the interior range from phone screen repair to eyebrow threading. The Asian massage place and water massage place are some ideal attractions. There are more than 4 Asian restraints, but only one healthy food options not consisting of smoothies or yogurt. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes if you plan to be there more than 2 hours.
