The best time to go to the Premium outlet malls are during the Thanksgiving week and black Friday. You get amazing deals over branded designer brands, which is awesome. If you subscribe to their VIP member on the website, which is of free of charge, you get to be informed of deals, coupons, sales, events, which might be really useful, if you are a good shopper. For those outside country, you can shop tax free, they will refund your tax, if you show your passport. You need to get a map as as soon as you land at the outlet and find the tax refund place, its in some corner, where people generally miss it, and pass by. You need good 2 days if you want to cover the whole place. Plan your day, based on the sale event on each store, and cover the important stores first, and then roam around. Those with kids, might not be a great idea, because there is a lot to cover, and kids can lose patience, its best if you find a way to get someone to baby sit them at home. Victoria secret, one store, always going on for 75% sale. No idea whats the deal with that, but any case all women love it!! Food court - So - so!

Im a bus driver for a company out of Houston, Tx. On July 24,th I had a group from china that I brought to the outlet mall. I dropped the them off this morning in front of the Guess store because there are proper signs that tell drivers where to park the bus. When I went back to get my group I had to pick ups. One at 2:30 and one at 5:00. I was loading where I picked them up from and again like I said they are from china so they remember where I dropped them off. Well I had two rude security officers asked me to move. The first one came on a scooter as I was about to pull and I explained the situation they my people want from here. The second officer was rude also when I tried to explain to him that my people was loading and I need to move it didnt care that they were from out of the country and could get lost. Especially when they just spent a lot of money at your stores and he wanna tell me well this is private property. I understand that but he just didnt have any concern about my customers i had on my bus!!

Was on the hunt for cardigans for my sister, a conservative business outfit for me, and sandals by Keen, Merrill, or Teva. Scored the cardigans imediately at Talbots Warehouse. They get 4-5 stars. DVF was fantastic but expensive even with the markdown. The ladies at Chicos were very nice. In two visits over two days I went to about 20 Shops. In a few shops I was not greeted nor offered assistance. Very little size 16 merchandise. Most dresses were polyester. Mark downs were erratic. Sometimes they were fantastic, sometimes not very good. No Merrills, no Keens and the Tevas didnt feel right. 103 heat index the first day, 107 the second and you have to go outside from shop to shop. To go to 20 shops and not buy a single thing for myself? Seriously, except for Talbots I will never go back. One of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. What a waste of time on a precious two day vacation.

Creo que hay ropa de todos los gustos para todos los tipos de personas, y estoy de acuerdo en que es un lugar grande con muchas personas. Pero no me agrado que atraparon a dos mujeres robando y las metieran a una ambulancia en lugar de a una patrulla de policía; los policías se te pegan al auto mientras manejas sin dejar una distancia adecuada; para recuperar los impuestos tienes que ir a otro lado si eres extranjero y la comida es cara.

The outlet malls at San Marcos, especially the Premier, is renown, very beautiful & impressive. Other than the bragging aspects of buying from Nieman Marcus or one of the other stores, merchandise is rather expensive since some items come with manufacturers flaws, previously displayed transfers from other stores, seasonal closeouts, and last years fashions. In three shopping trips to the Premier we have brought guests from Germany who have made substantial purchases. Over time, we ourselves have bought a Kitchen Aid, a porcelain table set, & other items from the outlet malls. It is certainly a WOW place to bring visitors.

Tons of stores. Clean parking lots and bathroom/snack area (reminds of a small apartment club house. Has at least one tv that I remember and comfy couches and chairs.) My store is Pandora. This Pandora carries older charms that may not been in the boutique stores in North Star mall and Rolling Oaks mall. Fun fact, when you get your receipt the receipt will give you a survey to fill out for 10$ off your next purchase of 100$! Other store I like is the Lindt Chocolate store. They set up the chocolate in big bins similar to the way youll see at a Jelly Belly store. Fun fact, when you go in they will give you a free sample of chocolate!

Just A Customer Customers

Its unfortunate San Marcos outlet mall has elected to start charging for parking by blocking sections close to A&F, PB, Starbucks, Restoration Hardware and other stores. Most store managers I talked to while shopping said they have no control over charge parking. Its funny as much rent each store pays most managers encouraged to add the review online. As famous comedian Jay Leno use to say "how lazy you have to be" when reporting the silly news and this is silly for the outdoor outlet mall. I am sure they will make money on parking, while stores are empty. One voice and not sure will matter to most.

Many of the stores are dirty and/or have crickets on the cheaper side. On the more expensive side, the parking lot is so crowded that you have to circle around and around to find a spot. The last few times Ive gone, when I was finally able to find parking, I walked into the store only to see that it was so packed with other shoppers that I couldnt even find a salesperson to help me or even get to the display of shoes I wanted to look at. I ended up leaving without buying anything because its too much effort to be aggressive enough to snag a salesperson in order to try various shoes on my kids.

A Private User

The black friday sale at Express Outlet Store was a total shock to us. I was in the store at 1 am and bought 6 shirt. When the receipt print out, I realized that it stated no return, all sale is final. I ask the employee there why it is final. He told me to ask the Manager in the Store. I immediately request return due the shirt for my sister. I didnt see any sign or poster showing that all SALE IS FINAL IS THE STORE nor the employee informed us UNTIL THE RECEIPT IS PRINTED. Unlike VS outlet had a big sign outside the store and at the checkout counter. Express totally lost me as a customer.
