Before this last week I had nothing but positive experiences at Desperado HD. I took my bike in for the 10,000 mile service on 2/28, the last day of my two year warranty on my 2015 Dyna street bob, which was purchased from Desperado HD. $460 (rear brake pads + service) and several hours later I picked it up and drove home. The very next morning the bike didnt start. Now my bike has struggled to start for a very long time, but never failed to start. I was accustomed to the V inerror message on the dash (low voltage error). I thought oh well, time for a new battery. I thought surely they checked the battery, after work I put it on a charger for 3 hours and it fired right up. Next morning no problems, after work struggled as usual but fired up. Decided to replace battery and to my surprise when I pulled the battery out of the housing the sticker on the rear says its a two year warranty from the month of the purchase. So did the service department just not check? Their excuse was that the tech made no notes of any issue with starting the battery. The service guy I talked to said a battery load test was part of the service, then said that the tech only check the condition and tightness of the terminals. This is what I paid $460+ for....excuses. I could have taken it to several other shops and paid far less, but I wanted to be sure that the people working on my bike knew what they were doing. Did they notice the trouble starting and let it slide cause they knew the warranty was expiring? After a long discussion with who ever called me back in service I told him I would never use Desperado HD for anything ever in the future. If this is the service I get after paying the top dollar no thanks. They tried to call me back twice, perhaps to work something out, but I just sent it to voicemail. I dont care what they wanted to say. Fool me once, shame on you... I wont be fooled again.

Its been a good experience . angle the service tech has always worked on my bike since I purchased it and is very helpful .. and the manager Joe has always been helpful on the pricing so for this reason this is the only place I take my bike for any kind of service. I took my motorcycle safety course here and it was a great experience I strongly recommended thanks again!! Thanks HD keep up the great work

I have been there many times, bought my motorcycle from that dealership, & I can honestly say that its been nothing but a great experience every time! Thats why I keep going back. Always great service, products, & awesome staff! My hats off to Felix! A sales man there who became a friend after I purchased my Harley from him. Ill be going back soon to him for another one! terrible rip iff. I took my bike for a simple repair It took three times as long to fix. It cost twice as much. They damaged my bike and messed up more than they fixed and never did get it right I has to go back and fix their mistakes. The Harley shop in Corpus is much better. They did the same job twice as fast and half the cost and didnt lie to me.

Meme and the guys at Desperado HD are awesome! They made me feel at home and treated me better than any other Harley store Ive been to. If your ever in the RGV you have to stop into this place. Their Dealer Logo Shirts are so sick! Probably one of the coolest around!
