I rate it four stars because i like the tattoo but there is only one person there i would let tattoo me and that is Knowledge. Hes professional, he will talk to you about how your tattoo will look best even if its something that might be a bad idea, hell find a way to get the job done and hell talk to you through out the process of getting your tattoo. Very nice and friendly but the other guy i believe his name is Jesse or Justin something like that. Hes retarded or high or something i dont know but he tried to do my tattoo and i quickly shut that down. The over all feel of the place is anything but professional but if you want reasonable pricing and a nice tat i would recommend Knowledge if you just have to go here. Id give his tattoo itself a 4.8 but didnt really like the place.

I love the people, place and atmosphere. The artists are all quality and their work is amazing! They all have attention to detail and are genuinely interested in the customers thought and ideas. They work until the customer is satisfied. They charge well below what their art work is worth. Danny, Nik, Jordan and David are phenomenal with their work. The shop has that personalized touch from each artist and I couldnt be more pleased with the work! Jordan, the piercing artist, is extremely professional and very knowledgeable about what youre looking for with any jewlery. They always give you an honest opinion. Highly recommend Death and Taxes for any of your tattoo or piercing decisions! You will not be disappointed.

Went in for anniversary tattoos, thought they were $50 dollars for 2. WRONG! Apparently 100 for 2 of the same. Could have done it for about $40 anywhere else! Smallest tattoo Ive ever gotten. Never go there again! Thanks Nick. Looked at both today, weve done everything that was supposed to be done as far as after care, both already faded! The guy sucked at all he did. Will never go back there again! Nick should never have a job there. Should stay doing stick and poke at his house! Everyone else there is very professional! Go home, Nick and learn some more before you try to be a professional. . Not impressed at all! Asked for red, got pink. Will stick with ghost riders! Bye, FELICIA!

Death and Taxes Tattoo is the best place I have been. I have many tattoos and these guys are amazing. Danny and Jesse make you feel welcome unlike 1 place 3 doors down. They will work with you on what you want and are amazingly good at thier craft. Danny has recently done 2 things for me and they are exactly what I wanted!! Jesses work is wonderful as well as I have seen many that he has done. He is really good at cover ups and I recommend both of these guys when you next cone in. They have a large collection of flash and a huge amount of pictures on thier computer. I Love this place!!! I know you will too.

Very professional. Had a tongue piercing done and everything he used was in sealed sterile packages. They go over everything you need to know before and after. I have a friend who got a tattoo and has the same opinion. All the staff is very professional and everything is kept sterile. I would recommend death and taxes over anyone in lubbock. Also discount for a tech id whispered makes their reasonable prices even better!

Amazing place and very clean!! The staff are all nice and fun to be around! Ive been in several shops and most of the guys are asses, I felt comfortable and welcomed! Jorden Vega is great with piercings!! He explains how to take care of it very thoroughly and tells you exactly what he is doing along the way! Also very reasonably priced with tattoos and piercings!! I highly recommend them!!

Horrible septum piercing, second worst pain Ive ever experienced, swallowed loads of blood, was later told by an actual professional piercer that it was the worst septum piercing she ever saw and to take it out immediately as the piercer here had pierced the cartilage. I dont know about tattoos here, but definitely stay away from getting piercings. Hack jobs are done here, not piercings.

People who have had a bad experience at Death and Taxes Tattoos. I would like to apologize. All the people that are being complained about. Are no longer employed by this tattoo company. We are doing our best to ensure that the quality of the tattoos, piercings, and experience at our shop. Is of the highest quality. Again these people do not work here anymore.

While being in Lubbock to visit family I suddenly decided on a tattoo. My uncle immediately recommended Danny. Overall I had a great experience. He did a great job and Im loving my tattoo. He answered any questions I had with complete knowledge and he did a great job explaining my after care process. I would totally go back again. Thanks Danny!

Very unprofessional, woman (Im assuming dating the Guy she walked in with who works there) with their child at midnight. Tattooist came runnug up to my fiance yelling at him for playing with the PlayStation that was set out with a sign that read "please ". Rude service, i advise to skip them up and get to big buddah.

I loved this place, great staff that made me feel great about getting my first tattoo and didnt pressure me in my decision. Shelby was my artist and she was awesome, I loved loved loved her just as much as my tattoo. Great place, I will recommend this place to my friends and I will be back.

Got a tattoo couple months ago didnt turn out well at all I waisted almost 200 on it and he rushed through pretty fast wasnt gentle at all real rough didnt seem like he knew what he was doing and I have 9 tattoos and this was the worse go somewhere else this place sucks

David Saldana did an amazing job on mine and my fiends tattoos! He has a light hand, for those of you who dont enjoy pain, and crisp clean lines. I will be back to Death and Taxes for my next tattoo because of Davids work & awesome personality!
