I just had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I have ever had in my life. I bought over $1000.00 worth of merchandise there yesterday (Sunday). The laser printer I bought was defective so I went back tonight to return it, but left in tears! When I was next in the Customer Service line MARY in the CUSTOMER SERVICE department said "Can I help you?", then walked off over to a shelf on the right for a good 20 seconds, then came back to me and said Ok do what now??". (That was weird, but whatever, I just want to get this done) I told her I needed an exchange and she said I needed to go get another printer, come back to customer service, GET BACK IN LINE and then she would handle my transaction. I asked her if she could go get the printer for me, she said "No, we are really low on employees so I cant leave my station". WHAT??? Ok fine, so I push my cart with my new 45lb printer, my old 20 lb printer I brought to recycle and my toddler daughter back to get another printer. Turns out, the only printer available for exchange was on the stock shelf 20 FEET HIGH. So a very nice young man associate had to get in the FORKLIFT to get me another printer. He also was nice enough to go to the front and handle my transaction. Then I went to the exit to leave and there was MARY HELPING A CUSTOMER CARRY OUT HER 6 FOOT TV!!!!!???? So as MARY walked back inside I said "I thought you couldnt leave your station?" She said that now there was another lady at the station. Ok. Then the SECURITY GUARD SAID "YOURE NOT GONNA TALK TO MY EMPLOYEES LIKE THAT". I said "I just did." The he tells me that I needed to be civil, then whispered something on his little secret microphone and called for back up like I"M some kind of criminal, a criminal who just purchased a $300 printer! Also I was with my tired and cranky 3-year-old too, who was having a mini meltdown. I REALLY COULD HAVE USED SOME HELP Mr Security Guard! So his back up shows up and the security guard said to him "I just need you to stand up here with me" as if Im about to start a war or something. AND, by the way can you tell me what exactly is SO UNCIVIL about asking why I wasnt able to get the same level of CUSTOMER SERVICE I JUST WATCHED MARY GIVE TO SOMEONE ELSE right in front of my face???? If Mary couldnt leave her station to get another Printer inside the store, then HOW IN THE HELL WAS SHE ABLE TO TAKE A 6 FOOT TV OUTSIDE THE STORE TO A ANOTHER CUSTOMERS VEHICLE????? COULD SHE NOT HAVE CALLED FOR BACK UP LIKE THE NINJA SECURITY GUARD??? So I leave my cart with my FORTY FIVE POUND PRINTER at the front so I can carry my CHILD and go get my car, (since obviously I cant carry my FORTY FIVE POUND PRINTER AND 30 POUND CHILD AT THE SAME TIME - RIGHT??) come back and ask to speak with the manager. Guess who it was! - the security guards back up!! Yep...never mind asking if he could help me to my car or put my printer in my trunk. Nothing. But yet MARY COULD LEAVE HER STATION TO HELP A LADY WHEEL HER 6 FOOT TV ON A DOLLY INTO THE BACK OF HER SUV PARKED OUT FRONT?????? So I explain to the manager what happened with Mary and he said "Its Cyber Monday" - EXCUSE ME?? SO CYBER MONDAY MEANS CUSTOMER SERVICE JUST DISAPPEARS???? Ok good to know. So I will be going back TOMORROW to return all my $1000.00 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE AND BUYING IT ELSEWHERE. You guys have a BAD BAD BAD APPLE IN YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT and I would strongly suggest you GET RID of MARY BEFORE ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS START RETURNING THEIR PURCHASES. But PROMOTE the very nice gentleman who did actually give me the customer service I DESERVED!!!! In all the YEARS I have shopped at Best Buy that has never ever happened to me, ever. So I will also be buying my Google HOME, HP ENVY computer, Samsung Sound Bar, and Refrigerator somewhere else too!! MARY GAVE THE WRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THE WRONG PERSON.

So I bought a White Macbook from them less than a year ago for school. Well my Macbook starts to crack where it closes and Im worried about my $1,000 computer. I just happen to be there one day after school with some friends and decide to consult a worker about it. He was rude right from the start and starts to tell me of how he has the same Macbook and how he doesnt have the same problem and here I am thinking GOOD FOR YOU. So I decide Ill just come back another day. Well When I do I talked to the Apple Salesman (the only employee with a brain/personality) which was helpful telling me its actually A COMMON PROBLEM with the white Macbooks released before the unibodies. So he takes me to a geek squad guy (which by the way was actually an older man) and he was very rude about it as well. I asked simple questions like "How long would it take for me to get it back" and he rolls his eyes and says "We dont carry Mac parts we will have to send it in to Apple so however long it takes will be their problem." So I think that is enough said and as for the rest of the store, dont expect them to acknowledge your existence. If 0 stars was at all possible that would be my selection. Dont call to the store expecting them to actually answer their phone because like everyone else giving reviews will tell you THEY DONT ANSWER.

Lived in four cities in Texas, frequent Best Buy customer, this store is without a doubt the worst managed store ive been to. Sales staff is a bunch of entitled college kids who have no idea how to approach customers, they are extremely rude, and know very little about their products. If you ask three different sales people the same questions, you will get three different answers. Theres 50 employees walking around talking to each other, and about 10% actually helping people. If this store was in a big city and had competition, it would not survive. This store kind of reminds me of Wal-Mart. Horrible. Dont bother trying to call and ask a question; Ive called this store more than 10 times in the four years ive lived in Lubbock, not once did anyone EVER answer the phone. Their shelves are hardly ever re-stocked, and they are not even willing to match their own internet prices. I will never purchase anything from this store again. All of my purchases will be made online using Amazon and eBay, who sell the same brand new products for a third of the price. I never write reviews because I feel they dont do any good, but I had to leave this one.

The sales assistant was very rude. We went in there to buy some cables to hook our macbooks up to our TV. Basically the guy wasnt explaining anything and talking way to fast, completely ignored the fact that my boyfriend was asking him questions and pushing us to buy the most expensive cords after he had already stated that for the regualr macbook the hd cords made no difference. I consider myself to be fairly good at the "techy" lingo, as I do keep up with all the technology. I was willing to buy the best cord for my macbook pro but not for my boyfriends macbook after he had already said wouldnt make a difference. I could understand him rushing us if they were super busy. They werent busy at all. We went back figuring the same guy wouldnt be there and maybe we would get better service. That was not the case. The same guy was there, and he did the exact same thing. I wouldnt go back there if there was another place in town to buy all the same things.
