All the people writing 1 star are complaining because they couldnt do a specific thing or are just raging in this comment. I work customer service and sometimes it takes time to do thing and sometimes thing change like unable to coupons after a certain time. But here has always been nice, its always an in and out trip for me. If the store doesnt have it, it just doesnt have it. I recommended going to this fabric store if you havent before. And to all the unpatient customers not writing an actual review and just complaining. You need to learn to be patient and that sometimes we dont always get what we want. The people working retail are human beings who deal with aggressive customers on the daily 24/7. Sometimes it might not even be their fault. Maybe someone was just in a bad mood. Or maybe they didnt know something and they dont work in that specific area, and the only person who does isnt there that day. When your getting hit with all sorts of agressive tones and on top you have a job to do that has to be done by a specific time. it can get to frustrating. It can cause you to break down. You never really get used to it. But youre told to just smile through it and you try to cause you need the job. There are kids paying for college to try and make a better life for themselves and adults trying to give something back. And I know someones gonna read this and go " well you chose to work retail " or " its your job just do it". When you get a job often times you dont have a choice. You need money to pay bills and take care of yourself and your family. This INCLUDES PAYING FOR COLLEGE. And this is the highest paying job you can find. Life is already hard please be patient to do what you can to be understanding and not make it harder.

From the get go I had difficulties trying to order from this store. It took me three trips and a week of waiting to be "called back" for cutting counter ladies to finally find the numbered code to order my item. Once someone finally called the manufacturer on my insistence and ordered the item I was told that the item would be delivered in a week and an half to the longest of two weeks. This fit fine within deadlines I had on a bow order. HOWEVER after consistent calling ever day and being told to "call later" at least 4-5 times, I FINALLY got the information that not only would it not arrive in time, but that it hadnt even been shipped and wouldnt be for another 2-3 days. And for future reference you will usually spend 10-20 minutes on a silent phone waiting to talked to. I would never suggest this business for any ordering or regular material. There prices are inflated 2 or 3 fold on ribbon, and what costs me 25 cents a yard regularly is 4 dollars here?! I have experience with ordering from many suppliers and by far this is the worst on all fronts. Price, Service, Friendliness, Timing....everything. Try anyone else if you want your order to actually come in before 4 weeks after you order (their own projected date).

I shop here regularly. I have never had a problem using coupons from Joanns or Michaels as long as I follow the rules stated on the coupons. I do shop their sales and compair craft items with Michaels. I have special ordered several times from other Joanns. The fact that it is called "Special" should tell you it will take a while and not easily recieved. Since Joanns is a retailer not a wholeseller you should relise the prices are higher. That is when you use a coupon or wait for a sale. The staff at this Joanns have always been very friendly and helpfull. I can slmetimes be a trying customer with two - three trying grandchildren. I appreciate their patience with me. Joanns does not always have what I need but then what store always has what you need every time?

Just left the store after purchasing some things. The extremely friendly (sarcasm) Pat checked us out. No "hello", no "goodbye", no eye contact. We had coupons to use and she was impatient and very short throughout the whole process. She must really dislike her job if she cant even acknowledge the presence of customers. Im a business owner and customer service comes FIRST. When leaving I told her "thanks for your help" and "have a great day" and her reply was "ok, thanks". I feel bad for Pat for being unfriendly. She may be having an off day but she shouldnt be in customer service if not. I hope she finds happiness. I love jo Anns and usually the customer service is great.

This lady, sorry, I didnt get her name, but she was cutting the fabric, was very helpful to me! I walked over to her when I saw that she didnt have a customer, to ask her if she could help me, a person who had no idea what I was doing, to find the fabric I needed for my baby pattern. She was so helpful! I have a new sewing machine and want to put it to good use. So when I walked into Jo-Ann Fabrics, I was amazed at all of the fabrics they have!! Now I have to go back to get a "Double folded Bias Tape" (whatever that is). So team members, here I come again! Please help me!!! Yvonne A

All the people writing one star reviews are people that tried to abuse the system, or treated employees terribly. You cant expect human beings to be sunshine and roses when you treat them like dirt, and believe me, these people get yelled at and insulted for every single slight misstep all day, no one can be expected to be chipper after being told they are a "stupid retarded b****" The employees put a lot into keeping the store clean and helping customers when they can. However, they are perpetually understaffed.

I had two pieces of artwork framed here. The sales associate who helped me was very patient and knowledgeable and had great suggestions for frames. I was also able to use multiple coupons and the girl knew the best ones to get the best price. The quality of the framing was excellent and I am very happy with the pictures. I highly recommend this store if you need to get your pictures framed.

I was so disappointed today. I am always able to use all of my coupons even on items that are on sale. Today i was told no, and on top of it all the manager John there was so rude about it. He did not look happy in the first place and he responded very rudely and went on about how in his 4 years there hes never seen it happen. Which i think is ridiculous. I will not be coming back.

I have visited this location at least 10 times and its always a good experience. Staff helps me locate things, prices are good, honor coupons and the selection is great. Only reason not giving 5 star is some aisles are too narrow making it difficult to maneuver with the cart containing big fabric bundles.

Great for my wife and other crafters. We were here for black friday and got really great deals on way too much fabric. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even though we had so much for them to cut.
