I have to say that this store has given me the most amazing shopping experience. I have had very few other stores or other forms of retail treat me with such great customer service. Dani (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) and Ian were over the top responsive to my needs at the time. They were both constantly assisting me with a return and car seat exchange. I went in to the store close to the time that the store was closing, and had a cranky toddler with me as well. They made no concerns with my sons behavior (he was rather whiney) and instead figured out simple ways to help keep him entertained while the return was being processed (It took a good ten to fifteen minutes due to the type of exchange so any bit of toddler entertainment helps). They also allowed me to bring in the one car seat I was exchanging, and allowed me to set up the new car seat inside the store so that I was not in the parking lot late at night with a toddler. We exchanged the car seat he came in so consequently had to set up the other one before we left. One male associate who I sadly did not catch his name, showed me an easier way to set up the car seat as well (they can not do it for you, but can guide you through it), and then broke down the box that the car seat came in so that I could take it home. He even walked me to the car and waited as I secured the seat in. The female associate who returned my sale (also sadly did not catch her name) was amazing as well. I left the store today and am already planning on making my future sales here. This is the second time I have visited, and each time two different managers helped me out in a way that no other store has done for me. I am thoroughly impressed and more than appreciative. I do not normally write reviews, but set up an account specifically do to so today. I am hoping that someone sees this and has a terrific experience also. I would love to give them all a special thanks for all their help!

Every single time I go into this store there is a line. Not only is there a line but NO ONE that works there seems to care AT ALL. I was there the other day.. When I walked in there was a long line. When I went to pay there was a long line. The only registers open were in customer service. So I had to wait behind people with more complicated transactions. Finally someone else decided to help out. She also was at the customer service desk so it really offered little help. I asked her if there was a line available for people without returns. She informed me "she got on the register to help out and called the next person in line who happened to have a return"....which didnt answer my question at all. FINALLY someone came to the front to help out. The girl that checked me out was friendly and apologized for the wait which was followed up by her forgetting to put my formula in the bag. Formula...to feed my child. And I understand...she was busy, probably overwhelmed with the line. I dont blame her. I blame her manager. I just dont understand. If you are working in a store its about customer service. Help the customers have a great experience. Dont have them feeling frustrated every time they visit the store. I will NEVER shop at Babies R Us again. Not because of this experience alone but because of all of them put together. Thank you and GOOD-BYE

I have visited BRU a countless number of times. Most recently on 1/25/14 while trading a car seat in for a new one. The store was seemingly shorthanded and crowded with customers. I was in no hurry and waited patiently for help. A young man, Edgar, was most attentive and willing to help. He was so friendly and tried his best to help me promptly while other customers needed his help as well. He was very knowledgeable about the car seats. I decided on one, and he carried it to the front for me. Well, as the week passed, I decided that car seat was not the right one. Not only did he recognize me on my return, he remembered exactly what I had purchased. He helped me again, and while I was at my car getting the car seat purchased a week earlier, he was out trying to find shopping carts left in the parking lot. He saw me with my two-year-old, trying to box up the seat, and he carried the seat back into the store for me. After purchasing my new car seat for my 14-month-old, he came to make sure we assembled the seat easily (they are not allowed to assemble seats for you, but they can assist you). I have never been so impressed with an employee at this store. He was so friendly, and he always had a smile-- even when it was obvious he was being pulled in several different directions. My hats off to Edgar-- may he get a raise!

I never see any Babiesrus like this one. Store is nice and big and clean but, the store attendents and cashers were like forsed to work. There was not any nice word given when you enter or when you live. Not a good hospitality. There were not any person in car seats area help desk. You were dare to ask for some help. Cashers were not even bother to talk to you or ask you, they talk each other about you. I was there for my twins birthday gift cards send by mail from Toysrus , while I was waiting for the some one bring my kids gifts 12" giraffe stuffed toy and Geoffrey book given by toysrus, I treated like I am stilling something. They made me feel like that. They were treating me like an alien. Was it about my clothing that is different from theirs, I dont know, I dont understand. They were like a cold stone. They did not even ask if my kids are having birthday today. I was in another store for my other kids birthday presents, we were treated like a king of the day, my kids were so happy. But this store I dont recommend for any one. Workers not want you to be there.

Ive been holding off on writing this review in hope that a business retailer would improve in a necessary niche market. Unfortunately, my continued experience here has been very poor. I live close to the Katy location and choose to shop here as it is convenient for my family. The concerns we have with this location is service has been consistently poor to non-existent. The cashiers seem to have an attitude when a price match is requested. The staff seem uninterested in checking customers out. There are times where staffing is limited throughout the store. Getting a question answered or getting something from the top shelves that requires a tall step ladder are nearly impossible. Its finally at the point where I will consider taking by business to the Bunker Hill location. I suggest you do as well.
