the people are nice enough (i guess, i only spend a few moments in there at a time), but they seem to believe that what they do is an enigma to their customers; and they have TERRIBLE hours!!! they close at 17:00 on Saturday (not opening at all on Sunday), EVEN when it is a long weekend, and people will have to wait possibly another whole week to get there--and they send the packages back to UPS in under 2 weeks. if you miss them on a Saturday in a long weekend, they STEAL either three days from you, or a whole week if you can ONLY get there on a Saturday. that nine days (i believe it is 9 days) could easily expire before you have another Saturday to try to get there. in case you are thinking to yourself: why do you not have all parcels delivered to your home? good question; but the driver(s) who deliver to me have what can only be a pathological, sadistic, wilful desire to destroy my parcels, along with their contents. they like to make deliveries from Amazon that are OBVIOUSLY books in the POURING RAIN, by NOT WRAPPING THEM IN PLASTIC, chucking them over an 8 foot, blind fence, into visibly running water, and easily guessed-at puddles of mud. i have a box wherein i keep all of the books they have ruined, and that have had to be replaced--those that could be replaced, that is. at least one of them was SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, and irreplaceable. were you aware (for example) that "signature required" is a pointless sham? EVEN when the parcel REQUIRES A SIGNATURE, they do not try to get one--ever. the customer service agent confirmed this for me, when i complained that two parcels that had been ruined were "signature required," and had the driver simply ATTEMPTED to reach me inside my home, the parcels would have been safe. the customer service agent told me that is "just something the vendor has required of [them/us]," and they DO NOT REQUIRE DRIVERS TO GET A SIGNATURE, NO MATTER WHAT. it is a psychological trick, a prophylactic, if you will. she admitted to me that they have to tell us that a signature is required, but that they are not required to get the signature. i asked her how that made sense, and she said she guessed it did not make any sense, after all. P.S. as to UPS in general: i HATE them. I LITERALLY HATE BOTH UPS and USPS. their employees harass customers, and steal and/or destroy our parcels with impunity; i even had to get my US Congressman involved. the man responsible for a shocking lack of ethics, no apparent understanding of the law regarding the mail, and precisely as much professionalism as a strip-club pimp is apparently made of Teflon. this creature was the manager of my USPS subststion. i call him Daddy Smoove, but his real name is Patrick Keys. he is purposefully disrespectful, he flirts with female customers at work--in lines to get to an agent, he is genuinely nasty to customers faces, and dresses in clothing that would only be appropriate if one were a man who exploited damaged girls and women for personal profit, and material gain. real talk: this is not a racially-biased description. even his employees find him to be extremely unprofessional...its not just me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPS sucks, and this store has an arrogant corporate culture, and in no way end-user-friendly. their hours reflect an attitude that they are doing us some sort of favour. that is un-American. i WILL be using another location in future; and FedEx whenever possible-- i honestly cannot think of one american delivery service i trust. not. one.

Its a real shame that Google Maps wont let you give a business less than one star. One out of five stars comes out to a 20/100 rating, which is about 19 points more than this UPS Store franchise deserves. You may be tempted to sign up for a mailbox at this location because the price is pretty reasonable and someone is always there to sign for your packages and take care of your mailing needs. I signed up for six months worth of mailbox service here to take advantage of this convenience, thinking that these guys would be happy to keep a paying customer in these tough and trying times. Unfortunately, I cannot recall one instance where the staff were friendly, helpful, or willing to "go the extra mile" for me. The owners/managers (long haired over-the-hill hippie lady and her overweight husband with a massive beard) are rude and discourteous to customers at every chance they get. On numerous occasions, Ive come in to pick up a package after seeing on the tracking site that it was delivered, and 80% of the time Ive been told to "come back in a couple hours" because their staff hadnt sorted through all of the packages yet. Youd think that it would make sense for the staff to look for a package in their pile of incoming mail when a customer is on-site, rather than sorting the mail for ALL customers (the vast majority of which wont show up the same day to pick up their mail) and telling the one customer who did show up to just come back later. The straw that broke the camels back for me is when I had an urgent Express Mail envelope delivered at 10AM, and the staff refused to check for it in the back until they were done with all their other tasks for the day. The staff werent bothered at all by the fact that I would have to come back to their store TWICE in one day. My urgent shipment was not available until 3PM... which really goes to show you how these people feel about their customers needs. Long story short: just go somewhere else. As far as poor customer service and overall incompetence are concerned, these guys are second only to the US Postal Service. Hopefully this location will hemorrhage as much money as the USPS does, and close its doors in the near future. I, for one, wont shed a tear when the "For Lease" signs come up on their property. :)

This franchise location is a complete garbage dump when it comes to the aspect of providing customer service. First and foremost, the owner Bob is a miserable old fat b*****d and a fake Christian who is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is also a pathological liar who will make promises that he knows damn well he cannot keep. For instance, do not remind him that he promised you a discount on your next renewal for your mailbox service because he will suddenly catch amnesia and then try to make up bogus excuses or make you out to look like a charity case in front of everybody. He acts like he has a high priced mailbox service. I wipe my a** with his prices for a mailbox so I am certainly not a charity case. He also has a slouchy looking and literal red headed stepchild of a step daughter who provides the rudest customer service in the universe, she does not even have good phone etiquette. On top of that they recent hired this fugly rundown looking mexican chick with a half shaved head who has the most nastiest disposition when it comes to her interactions with both staff and customers. She looks more like a DJ at a hole in the wall mexican club or a rave club full of meth heads and lesbians. Makes me wonder if the owner and his red headed stepchild daughter actually get their job applicants out of a sewer. Not to mention that she is out of uniform half of the time. The owner Bob does absolutely nothing about the lack of professionalism because he knows that his business is a sinking ship and that this job is probably the only job that his step daughter can get. I will never return to this horrible establishment even if it is the last private mailbox company on the earth. I would much rather receive my mail from my toilet bowl than to ever use their services. The only cool people there is JP, Carrie and Lisa. Cancelling my mailbox was the best thing ever. Do yourselves a favor folks, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Heck get a private mailbox at the U.S. Post Office. Not only is it WAY cheaper, but you only have to deal with government workers instead of fat and miserable fake Christians with crappy lives.
