Obviously by my rating, I had an extremely bad encounter with Skynet. Took in a broken ps3 and had them look at it. They replaced a part on it (optical drive) without doing ANY testing as to what was wrong at all, which happens to cost 129.99, which is half the cost of a brand new ps3. I agreed and it was fixed as planned, 4 days late in fact. The night I got it back, i was watching a movie and the machine shut off abruptly (this was the original problem). So I called them, took it back in, got a TON of hassle from the infamous Frank that was there about misdiagnosis...but yet again, flat out proves that absolutely no testing on their part was done. The ps3 stayed in their shop for another 3 weeks, everytime I called was a different excuse. Received the ps3 after a months time claiming to be fixed, gave me a hassle during pickup about how much supposed work they did to it and how many extra parts were installed that they were not charging me for...surprise surprise, within 15 minutes the machine shuts off and will not turn back on. Yet again, where was the testing phase here? They literally gave an unworking machine back to a customer claiming it was operational. Id also like to add that every single time they said they would call to give updates or when it was ready, they did not. I would call in days after when I was told they would contact me and they would reply with Oh yeah, its been ready to pick up. Not to mention, every time I walked into their shop, both men were talking and joking around, no work was ever seen being done. You can also attempt at going to their website but youll notice it is down for non-payment. This place is a business that has got to be close to falling apart. I would never recommend this shop to anyone i cared about, I definately get the impression they are learning as they go...and the professionalism here is a joke.

My old Playstation 3 broke and had the yellow light of death, so I just figured that it was done for, so I bought a new PS3. One day I drove by Skynet when I saw on their sign that they fix PS3’s, so I figured I would take my old PS3 in there to see how much they would fix it for just so I could have an extra PS3 to watch blu ray movies on. Skynet charges $150 to fix a broken PS3. I brought it home and it worked fine. They give you a three month warranty, but it just happens to be 3 months and 4 days later exactly when the ps3 got the yellow light of death and stopped working once again. I called them up to see if they would still redeem the warranty, but they said no they would charge $45 to fix it again. So basically I paid $150 to watch 7.5 blu ray movies because it shut off and stopped working in the middle of Fast Five. I would not recommend that anyone take it to him because he doesnt really look into what is wrong with the PS3 he just rigs it to work for a short fix. I recommend that you send it to an official place that fixes PS3s.

Spectacular service. These guys arent part replacers; they are computer mechanics. My son has a Toshiba laptop suffering with screen problems. Without consulting me he took it to some repair shop in Cypress who gave him the runaround and ultimately failed to make a good repair. He lost two to three weeks jacking around with these clowns. When we got the computer back, we delivered it to him at school in College Station. He, then, took it to the campus repair center. They kept it for two to three weeks and could not repair it. I retrieved it from him and took it to Skynet on a referral from a friend. A week later the computer was repaired and the price for repair was more than reasonable. No diagnostic fee either. These guys are great. You can trust them with confidence that they will repair your computer or whatever else you take them.

I went into them with a simple red ring problem. I fixed my own red ring before, so I know how to do it, but I didnt have the time to sit down and fix this red ring. it took him 2 days to call me back and say that it was ready for pickup, when I get to the shop and ask to test it before I pay and leave with it, as soon as he turns it on I have two lights 1 and 3 that are on. So now instead of overheating, I have a fault on my board. when I asked him to check the mounting bolts for the heat sink, he got mad at me and said that I dont know what Im talking about. He closed up the x box and handed it back to me and said "no charge. it was defective before you brought it in" and I left. I should have just gone to morisgamersfix in the first place. and thats where Im headed now.

People, please do not consider using skynets services... not only will they waste your money, but your time as well. I usually dont write reviews, but when i do it is because the business has horrible service and not worth your money and time. I took my laptop there and they told me that it would take up to 3 weeks....its been 3 months and like other people here said, they make excuses everytime you contact them. Ive asked for a refund but the guy working there an asian guy, said only frank can give me a refund, and this FRANK is almost never in there. And when i call him personaly he never answers. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ive ever had in my life!

I had a great experience here aside from bringing my Xbox home and finding out it was self aware after Skynet "repaired" it. The second I turn it on, I get a notification at the top saying "Defense Systems Activated" and then it fires the disc out of the machine so fast it cuts through the drywall in my apartment. Ive tried to contact Microsoft, but they keep hanging up on my after I mention the defense systems. Also, and this may just be a coincidence, but ever since doing business with Skynet Ive been followed everywhere by a guy on a motorcycle that looks like Dolph Lundgren with brown hair wearing sunglasses.

I took my Xbox to this place because my disk drive wasnt reading any of my games. I decided on this place because going through microsoft would have taken 3 weeks, when I got there the guy said it would take 3 days I was pumped. Then they proceed to tell me, "three more days." or "give us a call on saturday" for a WHOLE MONTH, when I finally got it back the problem wasnt even fixed. When I took it back to Skynet they only gave me a partial refund and said just send it off to microsoft. I got around to sending it off and now Microsoft wont fix it because it was "tampered with". i AM BEYOND DISSATISFIED.

Nai- SkyNet computers has been an great experience. I am in customer service and probably am one of the most demanding customers. Frank the owner took care of my computer and iphone device in the least amount of time with the best result. He turned my old Dell laptop into a 46" flat screen computer. :) I think if you tell someone exactly what you expect of a product than that is what you will receive. Frank delivered the best service possible and went above and beyond. I will always recommed SkyNet to anyone that ever needs help with their technology devices.
