So i walked into Scorpion and i knew that i wanted a tattoo from either big gabe or chris ayala. When i asked to see who was available i was introduced to chris and i told him what i wanted and he assured me that he could do it. I waited 6 weeks and when the time came he moved the appointment back by 2 hours (no big deal), when i arrived i thought he was going to be ready and he wasnt. In our original meeting I have him $60 bucks for a drawing that he never did. When i arrived he told me that he was going to be ready in a few minutes, those few minutes lasted 2 and half hours. The entired time he was by a desk drawing and talking to other people. Not once did he come to tell me what was going on, what he was working on, how the drawing was coming along. Not sure if thats the right person you would want tattooing something thays going to be permanent on your skin. Very disappointed in his lack of professionalism, and disgusted in lack of interest for my personal time. My advise, look to someone else!

I had came in and made an appointment with Gabriel Massey, and after presenting my idea he helped consult me on location and type of tattoo without presenting any real bias. I sent him a couple of pictures and the arabic scriptures I wanted incorporated, and we sent up the next appointment to review his drawing and proceed to tattooing. I showed up for my appointment well received, and fell in love with the drawing. Gabriel did a great job and the environment was very friendly and clean. Everyone there is a professional but at the same time were having fun. The end product was fantastic and although I dont plan on getting another tattoo in the foreseeable future, I would definitely return here if so and highly recommend both the shop and Gabriel as an artist.

A few things stood out to me about this shop. The temperature was comfortable; theres nothing worse to me than shivering for your entire tattoo, I didnt have that problem here. They keep it nice. Also, the shop "vibe" was great. All of the artists made me feel welcome. Good banter going around. Finishing an existing tattoo with Big Gabe, his style and technique are worth the wait. Plus he wasnt rude about finishing someones tattoo. Definitely my new shop to go to, and to recommend.

Stopped by to get some info on who could help me out with some ink. I figured since I left my information I would get a callback or whatnot. The guy at the counter text "Big Gabe" my information and said to expect a call back that day or the following. When I called the following day someone else got my information down and made excuses as to why I didnt get a call back. I dont recommend a place as disorganized as this for a tattoo. Much less one with staff that cant be reached.

My son was born on 2-18, and I wanted the perfect tat to commemorate his birth. I looked at all of the different studios in the city, and measured the work of each of the artists. Gabriel at Scorpion is the ONLY person I will go to for any future tats. I have a huge coverup in mind, and cant wait to see what Gabriel can do with it. Very satisfied.

Got my first tattoo here -- it looks great, very crisp and professional!! No problems or issues! The service was great, too. Big Gabe sat down with me for a while so we could talk about what to expect and how to care for the tat, since it was my first one. I will DEFINITELY be coming here for future tattoos!!!

Sapo did our family crest on my son and me. My son had just turned 18 and was getting his first tattoo. He kept my son comfortable and kept him laughing. It was a great time. Great tattoos. Sapo is my permanent artist now. They run a clean shop with amazing artists. We will be back. Thanks Scorpion Studios!

I was pleasantly surprised, I was helped shortly after walking in and was able to get my tattoo within a half hour. Kevin Poon was awsome took my black and white picture and made a beautiful tatt with subtle and amazing colors and shade. they were polite and willing to listen to me and what I wanted.

Chris did a tat on my left side Friday March 21, and he did a PHENOMENAL job!! I brought in a picture of what I wanted, and he made it look even better. He was very friendly and professional. The shop was clean, and the experience was great. I highly recommend this shop, as well as Chris! Thanks!!

Got a some work done last night.....all the pics online of what Id wanted look cool in their own right, but last night Steve went above and beyond....in my humble opinion this was the best tattoo experience Ive ever had B-) I will be back. Only drawback....it was hard as hell to find parking :-(

I love my tattoo...its sooo nice! However the service was ok...the tattoo artist was nice, but he seemed a bit frusterated about my design but in the end he did a great job. Scorpian Tattoo is a pretty cool place I recommend it if you want a clean and detailed tattoo.

Didnt get any service, waited about 15-20 minutes and no one came to ask if I needed anything. The couple ahead of me said they were there for about 45 minutes with no service as well. Everyone ended up leaving without anything. Also parking is another problem.

the ONLY place Ill go for tattoos. Lil Gabe is my guy but my friends have had others there do work and they all came out awesome. Very highly skilled in many styles and great ability to listen and understand what clients want.

I checked out most of the shops on Westheimer Rd and Scorpion Studios had the best environment. I was lucky to get Kevin Poon. Very professional and he did an amazing job. Im really impressed with his work!
