I recently bought a 2011 Mercedes R350 from Bemer Motor Cars. My experience was nothing short of fabulous. I found the vehicle online and contacted them via email. My email was answered promptly and my credit application approved within an hour. I live over an hour from the dealership, so I wanted to make 100% sure I had the credit to purchase my dream car and my credit is sub par to say the least. The dealership was very nice and the staff was very helpful and patient. I felt no pressure and all my questions were answered. I learned while I was there that this business has been around for over 30 years in the same location. They have mostly family on staff and they also have a shop with certified mechanics that work on Mercedes and BMWs (and others I am sure). That gave me peace of mind, knowing that my vehicle went through a very thorough check. I test drove the car on Friday and came back on Saturday with my husband to buy it. When I got in I noticed they replaced the wind shield! I didnt even ask them to do it, they just did. I also recieved free oil changes for the life of my car (oil changes on Mercedes start at $110!). I also recieved a 6,000 mile or 6 month bumper to bumper warranty just to make sure my car was a keeper! As far as I know, no one offers that. I have bought many used cars in my life and have never been given a 6,000 mile warranty and free oil changes and the three cars I had before this were all Volvos bought from large dealerships. Its nice to know that this business truly cares about the products they sell. They purchase their vehicles from local big name lots. They really dont "know" what they are getting when they buy the vehicle. No one really does when you are buying used. They do the best they can to purchase nice, clean, low mile cars. Then to make double sure they GIVE YOU a warranty! That tells me and shows me that they care about their customers. You arent gonna get that at a large dealership or a note lot (who is here today and gone tomorrow). Bemer Motors has earned my business for life!

You can tell the first reviews are all fake reviews. OVERLY nice reviews. I took my 99 Dodge Durango in to have a broken thermostat housing bolt removed by welding a nut to the broken piece and trying to remove in carefully. I knew the issue because I tried extracting the bolt to no avail. I told THE OWNER/HEAD MECHANIC Julian(the short curly haired guy with glasses) the problem, and he told me "So basically you made it worse?". I looked at him and said "No, I did not make it worse, the extractor just didnt work." For a man running a business, you would expect him to be a little more respectful of his clients and any new clients. What happened to customers always right?! I asked for a estimate of how much the work would cost, and he told me between $50-$500!!! WHAT!? What kind of estimate is that?! I told him a job that small doesnt cost that much, and he said it all depended on what it took to get it out... I ALREADY KNOW WHAT IT TAKES! Too charge more than $150 to remove a broken bolt from an intake/thermostat housing is just ludicrous! So he said "okay leave it here and I will look at it and call you tomorrow." so I left the truck. I call the next day around 4-5pm, and asked him if he looked at the car and he said "No, you didnt give me the okay to do the job". Why would I tell you to do a job if you have not looked at it and given me a proper estimate?! Then, he said what NO mechanic should tell a customer. "You think I take cars apart for fun, I dont take cars apart for fun".... talk about someone who hates their job. No passion. Im not a certified mechanic but I take pride in fixing my cars and cars in general. I love it! For a mechanic not to love what they do means what you cant expect the job they do on your car to turn out like. I am warning all of you, DO NOT take your cars there. You will regret not listening to all these recent posts. I can only imagine the hell I would have been put through if I let him fix it. Youve been warned.

Verify what they tell you about the vehicles they are trying to sell. I was told that the vehicle I was looking at was a one owner car and that it had all of the service records and that they guy who traded it in missed it for the car he got. I asked for the car fax and was told it would have to be looked up at a later time by the sales man who was assisting me. When I pulled the car fax because the salesman never did it was a SEVEN owner car. Then to make matters better, when out on the test drive the check engine light comes on. Im given some story about how the battery was disconnected and that caused the codes to fault. Okay, maybe. So I ask for the OBDII sensor report that they should be able to pull very quick. If you have ever had a check engine light and you got to a parts store so they can check what codes are on then you know that it only takes a few seconds. Sadly to say I really wanted that particular vehicle but after the what I feel was false advertisement lying about the history of the vehicle and shady back handed dealing with reliability and unwillingness to be open with vehicle diagnostic reports. I can not on good conscience recommend a place suck as this that when you call and ask for a manager you are transferred to someone who does not identify as a manager and when you ask if they are a manager just say okay what do you want how can I help you and does not answer the question. Very disappointing experience and please verify everything they tell you and pull the car fax reports.

If youre looking for a genuine place you can trust to purchase a vehicle from, please, for your sake, take your business elsewhere. I found the vehicle I wanted to purchase so I called Bemer and was directed to Julian. I inquired about the vehicle I was interested in and was told it was available and that his son, Ismael would contact me shortly in reference to the vehicle. I was contacted shortly and briefly spoke to Ismael about the vehicle. After a few questions, we ended the call, I transferred funds in preparation of purchase and called Ismael back. We spoke again and agreed on the price which was the advertised price on their website and all others the car was offered for sale on. I was then sent a buyers order form early afternoon on Friday for confirmation and sent a deposit to hold the vehicle until I got back in town Monday (out of town for thanksgiving). The morning following, I received a phone call from Julian saying, "im sorry but I cant sell you the car at this price anymore, I will send you a refund". I was actually in shock as we had already agreed on everything the day before. I was never offered an alternative option other than a refund of my deposit. I dont know why I was shoved out of the way of this confirmed and deposited sale. I am a local business owner and know that this type of work creates a terrible business profile when trust is the most important characteristic of any credible business.
