My "low tire" light went off and I was driving past Pep Boys. I turned around and stopped there. I had my 8 year old little girl with me. I explained that I probably needed a tire fixed and he came out to "look at it". He takes one look at the tire (still on the car) and tells me that its flat and he cant fix it. I asked him if he can sell me a tire, he said that they dont have that tire (apparently he has the stores tire inventory memorized). I explained that if my tire is flat and he cant fix it or sell me any tires, does he have any recommendations. He suggested that I call a tow truck and see if they can bring me a spare...he basically said that my daughter and I were stuck and it wasnt his problem. Worst experience ever, but I happily bought 2 new tires from a competitor and was good to go an hour later.

Bunch of clowns. I called first to get prices before I agreed to go in. When the truck was done, absolutely everything had an inflated price. The parts, the labor and then there were a myriad of mystery charges like "shipping", "labor warranty" etc. My estimate went from $300 to $600 dollars. When I challenged them on it, they matter of factly fixed each issue line by line only if I protested them like it was just business as usual and no big deal to get caught ripping people off. The actual service was not good either, Ill just leave it at that. If you must use them, call first, get the OUT THE DOOR price and get the guys name is all I can say.

Buyer Beware!!! I went in for a simple break job on a car and they tried to charge me $900! I said thats absolutely rediculus, give me my car back! I see them easily taking advantage of elderly... I saw one charge over 1k and another 500+... Very inflated pricing... I was expecting the prices from the internet! Man im pissed! I took a day off for this, made an appointment and just wasted soo much time! Ahhhhh

This store has very poor customer service. All I needed was a 10 minute state inspection, but they were unable to provide that. When I arrived, they told me it would be 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting, they had not moved my vehicle or told me that it might be longer. When I asked for my keys back, they didnt even apologize for the wait.

I was impressed with the service I received on behalf of the Assistant Manager and his team. They took my thoughts and budget into consideration and even stayed a bit late to get my work done that same afternoon. I felt valued as a customer and would recommend their services. They damaged my car interior paneling when I went in for a simple parts replacement behind the dash. Completely cracked open the plastic near the radio and they said thats just what happens sometimes and didnt care at all. Dont go here, your car will be more damaged when it leaves than when it arrives.

Worst Customer service after 45min no lie my car was still waiting for oil change. N yes i had a appt. At 6:30 after i told them 7 would work better for me.then at 7:11 i went to get my truck it was still waiting WTF i work 10hr shifts......

Took my car at in the morning for a quick oil change, took nearly 1 hour and 45 min! I was waiting in disbelief, there was only one other car there (went at 8:00am). I just asked for oil change and nothing more. Try to avoid if possible!

My mom has been coming here for years to have work on her tires done. From tire rotation, air filling, and replacement (when she drives over another nail in the road) - Pep Boys has always offered great, reliable service.

Avoid Pep Boys like the plague. They wanted to charge me about $1200 for a timing belt change while my local mechanic did it for half that. If you dont mind getting screwed then this is the place for you.
