When i walked in i thought it was a little small to be a comic book shop. But as i walked the racks i found that they had all the current titles & a plethora of back-stock issues that would have been gobbled up by bigger shops, so in a sense there lik a dimond in the rough. The service was more then friendly & the crew members were knowledgeable of the titles i was lookin for. They specialize in takin subscriptions & special orders. All in all, there a small shop.... but they pack a punch. Not too mention, the cool Han Solo frozen in carbonite is a nice photo op. If your in the mood for a personal look at comics, id defiantly recommend stopping by.

Took them a while to figure out where they placed the comic I ordered from them. And I was supposed to receive a call when it came in. I randomly decided to show up that day, and it had been there a week. When they couldnt find it in the first five minutes, one of the workers mentioned that it might have been placed on the shelves and sold to another customer. Considering I had to pay half the cost when I first ordered it (which was $9), I was not pleased at all. Then I was charged the full price when I paid, and had to wait while they figured out the new system so that I could just pay the second half.

The service here is terrible, the chubby dude who runs the front is real obnoxious. When you try to find something, payoff or ask for assistance, he has this dumbfound attitude. He even makes the air uncomfortable when I come to play Magic with him around. I wish they were as decent like Austins Dragons Lair. I only go here as a last resort if I dont find what Im looking for. I just go to Myths Adventures or Rouge comics.

This place was bought out by a the same person who owns Myth Adventures in McAllen, TX. They have a big selection of comic books, board games, and action figures. On the weekends, a lot of people show up to play the various TCGs such as Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. Most of the players are friendly. If your into Magic the Gathering, this is the only legitimate store in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.

Its awesome to have a comic store in Harlingen, as the next closest one is all the way in McAllen. They have great stock, friendly and helpful staff, and often hold events and participate in national comic store days. If you have any nerdy interests whatsoever, I highly recommend stopping by to check out the store at least once. Its a great place to spend your time and pick up some great hobby items.

If you are looking for a place to play cards dont bother stopping here. The customer service is horrible. The so called "manager" has something stuck up his you know what. If you are interested in cards or comics there are way better places. Try Weslaco or Brownsville where the staff is friendly and they know how to actually treat their customers. 0/10 Would not recommend to anybody.

If you are a gamer from out of town and are looking for a comic shop to totally screw you, this is the place for you. They are so afraid of competition in the game of Heroclix they will change the rules mid event to favor their players. When confronting the OWNER I was hung up on. BY THE OWNER!!! Stay away from this shop if you want to engage in fair play.

My husband attempted 4 times to special order a series for my Christmas present. Each time he stopped in to check if they had ordered it, the guy behind the counter made excuses. If he had just told him that they couldnt or wouldnt do it, my husband could have ordered it online. He wanted to give our money to our local shop, but they were very unhelpful.

First visit to the store and they have been nothing but helpful! I am new to MTG and these guys advised me of everything going down in the coming and upcoming month. I just feel so happy to get that "home" vibe from this place. If your interested for comics, cards and more definately stop by here!!!

The staff here are really nice and go out of their way to get in the comics I request and help me keep track of the characters I follow. Really awesome people. They have a good selection and facility, but I really am thrilled with the personal touch I have received.

Its awesome to have a store that satisfies Geeks and nerds for everyone.Their prices for their trading card sleeves are 4 dollars plus tax for only 60! Thats AWESOME.Theirs even yugioh and magic tournaments and much more things to enjoy.

Tons of backstock, plenty of selection, and they even have deals going on throughout the year. Stopped by for Free Comic Book day and I was not disappointed. Totally recommend it to anyone living in the Harlingen area. 5 stars mang!

First stop on the way back to Oklahoma. Hours are posted that theyre open go well out of the way for them to be closed. Paper taped to the window saying they open at 11. Update your hours please.

This place is second best only to Myth and Adventures in Mcallen. Theyve got tons of back issues, memorabilia, variants and so much more. This is a must visit place if you like comics.
