Dear Jo-Anns,My wife just had the worst customer service experience in your Grapevine, TX location with the manager, Chris B. So I thought I would tell you the story.Background: My wife is a second grade teacher who loves Jesus and one of the nicest, most caring people that I know.She had purchased some items and realized half way home that the cashier had charged her for an item that she did not purchase. So she turned around with a toddler to come back to the store and get it refunded. When she got back to the store, she spoke with the manager who was checking people out (there was about 15 people in line). She quickly told him the situation and asked if someone could fix the problem so that she could get our son home since it was the cashiers fault. Manager: "There were a lot of people ahead of you so you need to get to the back of the line." (In rude tone)My Wife: "Cant you see what I am saying, you guys messed up and I shouldnt have to wait, especially with a toddler." Manager: "No, I dont see what you are saying." (In a rude tone) My Wife: "You are being very rude." Manager: "You are the one being rude, trying to bully your way to the front of the line."After he finally checked her out, she was signing the receipt and he said, "You cant even sign it right." So she called and left a complaint with corporate. Then I called to ask him to apologize to my wife.Manager: "She wouldnt get to the back of the line."Me: "I dont care, you are the manager and you work in customer service. You need to have professionalism."Manager: "Maybe I could have handled it better, I tend to get testy with people that are rude to me first."Me: "Are you kidding me? You cant talk to people like that. I dont know how long you have been managing that store, but you certainly have a lot to learn."Manager: "Are you done?"Please do something about this. If you need more to the story, please get in touch with me and I can give you my wifes information. If he is like this with a nice person, think of how he will treat your customers during the holidays. P.S. I still think my wife deserves an apology. UPDATE: To "Amanda." You are obviously an employee, maybe even the jerk manager that caused all of this. So, please, remove your fake review so that the rest of the world can see the true reputation of this location.

Sign on an end cap says 40% off. There were no other type items on the end cap. Halloween related. Looked like everything in the store Halloween related was 40%off Bought two items. Rang up regular price. I paid but upon examining receipt before I left cashier area, I questioned why no discount. Very rude cashier told me I was wrong. He didnt bother to go look, but I did, after i paid. Sign there Took picture. Stood in line again since there was only one cashier. Showed him picture. He said it must be a mistake. I pointed out that he should honor anyway. He THEN went & looked. Came back with sign. Said it didnt apply to those items & that sign shouldnt be there I said " so your customers should just "know" that?" He shrugged shoulders. Refused to honor. I asked for and got refund & left. Last time Ill shop there. Horrible customer service & attitude. If I could give 0 stars, I would. And it seems Im not the only one whos had a bad experience..

To Mr Witt As a customer that was among the 15 standing in line that day, I am appalled that you can try to say your wife was not rude and innocent of fault. As someone who is suppose to be so in touch with Jesus as you say, and as someone who is a teacher of our future generations, its very sad to hear that your wife has no concept of the fact that to gain respect you must earn it and to do that you must first respect others. I overheard the conversation and the employee was nice and helpful until your wife refused to wait her turn. She cut in line and disrespected myself and everyone else in that line regardless of what her problem was with the store. If anyone deserves an apology it is myself, all the other customers in line and the employees of JoAnns. I shop there frequently and although they may be understaffed, they certainly do not deserve to be treated like second class citizens. They are not your servants. God bless.

Terrible customer service. Management is argumentative and condescending. They shorted me cut fabric on two of my three prints. When I called about it they acted like they were doing me a favor to return it. Mind you I paid for more than I received. Wonder how common this is. Ive never checked when I get home before. Now I dont trust them and dont want to hassle with the lousy management. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because it was the closest to my house. Hardly worth a star though.

Terrible customer service. There was no one there to help me find what I was looking for. I was in the store for 15 mins and not one person was available to help me find anything. The prireces are truly outrageous, spent $45 on 2 mason jars, tape and wood sticks. Im never having my mom drive me there again.

I love this store and always receive the best customer service and prices, due to the coupons available through mail and online. A huge variety of fabrics, trims and notions for all your sewing needs, plus seasonal decorating supplies, craft products, framing, etc. Ill always be a regular shopper at Jo-Anns!

There are usually long lines at the fabric cutting tables. The few ladies they have need to do a lot more cutting and a lot less visiting. Sometimes I leave and go to Hobby Lobby to get what I need because the waiting at the cutting tables and the checkout are just not worth it.

Be sure to print a discount coupon before you go because everything has been marked up so high to accommodate for everything that is discounted to bring it down to still high prices. I love the merchandise, but their prices are out of control.

Love the variety of stuff, darn near anything you need of want for arts, crafts ect. But VERY expensive so Ill make my stuff from scrap, lol just kidding but seriously folks, yall are high.

Decent selection, even though they have cut the space of the store down by half in the past few years. Staff seems uninterested in offering help. When you ask for help, they begrudgingly assist.

This is my go to place for all crafts. There is a Hobby Lobby much closer but their selection is much smaller and the prices are much higher.
