Kroger in Garland TX location : 1406 W Walnut St, Garland, TX 75042 I was driving to work at 4:30 in the morning while it was storming outside i was in the right lane on garland rd when I saw a shopping cart rolling into the street i tried to stop before i hit the cart and instead the shopping cart hit the front driver side of my car and ended up making me lose control and spin out onto railroad tracks..I called the store and spoke with the store director..she was very rude told me to come up to the store so that they can file a claim but most likely it would not process through because customers like to take the carts home...First off the cart rolled out of the parking lot seeing as i hit the cart in the right side of the lane where the kroger is on second if you know that it is going to storm that night why wouldnt you make sure to put all shopping carts inside of the store...then I continued to ask what her name was and she did not give it to me she told me to come up there after I got off work and ask for her assistant. So I called corporate and the young lady i spoke with was very nice and helpful she told me to go ahead and file a police report and that they are filing a case as well. My car has substantial damage to my car and if they do not think that they are responsible then i will be sueing the company. I am beyond upset with the customer service that I was given from the store director was beyond rude and I will keep pursuing until my vehicle is fixed.

People complaining about parking, are the stupid ones that insist on that ONE middle aisle, and HAVE to have that front parking spot, or they complain. I am a mother of 2, I always find awesome parking here. Try closer to Cato, to the left of Kroger. All you have to do is walk diagonally instead of a straight line! It is possible! They have a short parking lot that goes wide, it is a shopping center. So, go wide and youll find a spot! Plus thats where youll easily find a cart outside, since their cart boys are awesome! I hardly ever see any loose carts strewn around. Im here at least once a week. I love their selection, always find what I need. Cant resist the desserts in the produce every time! I like coming at about 11 pm. People seem to forget Kroger is open until 1, and I can get everything in half an hour. Doesnt seem dirty to me. I come here (5 min drive) instead of the walmart right around the corner!

This Kroger is pretty tired and struggling even after an extensive reset and cosmetic sprucing up in the last year. The constantly changing management team indicates this particular location is an assignment of some type of administrative purgatory retribution. Meat department invariably provides an abundance of rain checks due to poor inventory control.....either on purpose or with complete unawareness of the district weekly sales ads delivered to neighboring zip codes. Demographics of the area demand highly visible security measures and the parking lot patrol is pretty good, although the text messaging entranced you-tubing inside "officer" may be somewhat inattentive while lounging overflowing-ly in one the handicap carts and picking her nose.

Very rude people cashiers and customer service they trybto cover themselfs callin on the phone to each other i think they racist this lady in front of me have some coupons and they took them but when it was my turn they said no right away i asked to speak with manager send me to customer service the cashier call the cust service rep to let her know i was going overthere but didint help me anyways i wont be going there go to the one on shiloh or centennial

Rude employee who wanted to search my bag after i went in there from the gym next door to get a soda ..so i hope she got a big whiff of my sweaty gym clothes. Not everyone with brown skin and a small backpack is a thief...and ive been in there everyday before that for the same things so i stopped shopping there

Rude staff, terrible management, not that great of a store. I mean i get it, its just Kroger, like, why are you even looking at reviews for Kroger? Not like youre gonna see this and be like "i guess Im not going to Kroger". I mean, its a grocery store, you go because its either cheap or close to you.

Pharmacy sucks ass. I signed up for auto refill and they told me that they would fill it 4 days BEFORE I ran out. I come up here almost out of my prescription and now I have to wait what feels like hours before I get my pills. For a place that gives costumer service this store sure isnt doing well

I just moved into the Dallas area from Southern Louisiana. It was difficult for me to find a place that reminded me of home. The friendly, smiling staff and the overall atmosphere definitely makes me feel welcomed.

This is a very nice, clean and friendly neighborhood store. They have a very diverse and knowledgeable group of employees. Plus McDonalds is very close and makes for a nice treat before or after shopping.

Went to get license tags so I didnt have to wait an hour and a half at the tax office but Kroger wanted seven more dollars and was printed on the official document with no real explanation as to why

They always add more checkers to the check out if it gets even a little busy. Store always mostly clean. Prices are no worse than most anywhere else, plus you get discount on gasoline.

I like to visit the meat department because when Chase is working, I always get kind customer service and a great recommendation on what steak to get.

Tax on poverty comes to mind when you visit this store. Crowed almost every hour it is open. Meats are pathetic and over priced. Produce is pathetic.

Too many rude people in general, not a great selection in much, prices not worth going for, and dont get me started on parking.
