I went into this location today to get my wifes wedding band fixed. We purchased this ring from Kays about 8 years ago, and also purchased the lifetime warranty plan. The ring simply broke at the bottom where they sized it down, and the band is thin, so I guess this could happen. The lady working at the store told me a few things that baffled me, and she must have thought I was an idiot. First, she said that their rings only last for 10-15 years, and that the gold wears away every time you put it on and wear it. So in this, I was amazed at both of these points. 1) According to her, Kays jewelry has a life expectancy of 10-15 years. I guess that beats the national average divorce rate by a few years, but I wish this would have been disclosed when I purchased the ring. 2) The gold wears away each time you put the ring on and wear it. So if I understand this properly, the human skin is stronger than gold. I dont remember geology that well, but I do not think human skin is harder than gold. If these were not insulting enough, I was then told that it would cost $150 to have the ring fixed and have gold added to the ring. Also, this is not covered by the warranty, and only soldering the ring was covered, but that the ring would just break again. Its funny how Kays will not buy the gold back from you when they size the ring down, but they charge you the price of gold when they have to fix their own product. Very disappointing and I will be letting everyone know to avoid this place.

Being a newly engaged woman I thought my experience at Kay would be exceptional but I was completely wrong. I went in to have my engagement ring sized and was promised that it would be in by Friday but that never happened. Every time I call up there nobody can seem to find my name and was being very rude about it. At first they told me I had the wrong store and then the next day when I called they said they lost it. Every time I speak with someone they give me a different story. Now they say it should be in on Monday but I have not heard anything from anyone. Im so upset because I had an engagement party without my ring that was promised to be there. As of right now I still dont think they know where my ring is

I bought a ring from here and my diamonds kept falling out. I have taken it back no less than 6 times and so ordered it in a stronger metal and it was supposed to be delivered on Dec 26...It is now January 5 and I still have not gotten my ring, nor do they know where it is. This will be the last time I use them for anything.

Went to have my jewelry cleaned and out the associate lost my ear rings, it took him 15 min to find them after looking in 3 trashcans he finally found them wadded up in a paper towel. A total of 45 min to have 2 rings, 2 necklaces and ear rings inspected and cleaned is unacceptable.

That manager is not with the company anymore. The new manager is very nice and the new sales staff is very knowledgeable and happy to help you anytime. Give them another chance and you will see the changes.
