I had the pleasure of doing business with Jay and Stephen at Arlington Jewelry Exchange on Thursday, June 5. I give them a glowing recommendation. During my visit, I learned that Arlington Jewelry Exchange is both locally and family owned. I stumbled upon Arlington Jewelry Exchange after doing a Google search for local jewelry appraisers. Ive never had a piece of jewelry appraised, and I had no idea what to expect. When I called to schedule an appointment, Jay was polite, courteous and professional. Then I ran late. When I called to explain, Jay said it was no problem for me to show up 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. And he didnt make me feel bad about my tardiness. The biggest treat was that Jay allowed me to observe the appraisal, and he went above and beyond by explaining to me all the things that he was looking at to determine value. He made a point to "tell me the story" of my ring. It was an incredibly personal experience that deepened my love for my ring and increased the confidence I felt about my purchase. Jays attentiveness and obvious expertise made me feel special -- it was a wonderful experience. Additionally, Jay recommended two services be performed: a new rhodium plating and to have my ring sized down. Jay went out of his way to get those services done the same day. The price was reasonable. Jay really earned my trust for Arlington Jewelry Exchange. I will definitely purchase jewelry there. And I wont ever use another jeweler for repairs again. Jay has made me a customer for life.

I give them one star just for a single individual that apparently cared enough to call me. I couldnt even get in the door. Apparently, balding middle aged disabled veterans are neither welcome or opening the security door is too much trouble. It requires a certain amount of physical pain and planning to deliver my broken body to a place of business. And then to have that business ignore me while I ring their bell, as instructed, for minutes at a time to open that door pretty much loses my vote. Of course, all the while a woman sits in the back of the store, clearly visible perusing a catalog completely ignoring me the customer visible at the door. And then, after I phoned in my complaint as I leave the parking lot, the "owner" calls back to claim the door lock suddenly doesnt work just when I show up, even though I sat in the parking lot and watched an apparent customer enter and leave the business moments before. So, the door works for him, but not me. Okay, whatever. Ive found another shop to do the work. Thats one of the beauties of capitalism, competition. Not really sure what the impetus was of my refusal of service, only that they captured my phone number and used it. I should have considered that, my bad. I will watch for issues, if any.

We have known Ted & Ann Kasallis and their family for more than 12 years and have been jewelry customers since they opened their store in Arlington! It can be tricky doing business with family and/or friends, but they have always treaded us fair and honest and done great work. The selection is huge and if you do not see what you want they will order in any thing you need. We have had them do custom work for us too. I am a shopper and like knowing I have gotten the BEST deal I can and the Kasallis family never fails to give me the best price up front and I know it... We have made over two dozen purchases through the years and I am especially looking forward to my husbands next BIG purchase with our 30th Wedding Anniversary in 18 months. In other cases, they have gone out of their way to locate specific items that we have wanted. The jewelry that they stock is composed of both traditional and unique pieces. this place is nice I went in and got my Gucci watch with me the back cap on the backof the watch pop out from this other guy from quikset jewelry & watch couldnt put back on so I came here and they got the cap back on they told me the Gucci watch need a special tool to get the cap back on so they took care of it and only waited for 4 mins I will come back with my Gucci watch

With all the uncertainties with diamond and gold purchases, know that this is one place you can completely trust!
