I drive past this place almost every day...its on 183 between Industrial and Westpark Way. I decided to go there when I wanted to sell my gold. I got a great deal on the gold they bought from me, and they fixed some things for me during the transaction and I also bought some batteries from them that they put in my watches. I was very impressed at the customer service....they are very genuine, and it is very obvious that EVERY customer receives great treatment, not just the high rollers. About a year later I decided to put my Moms diamond from her wedding ring (parents divorce) into a wedding band for me. I wanted a special tension setting, which I guess is not very popular here in Texas. Richard (the owner...or one of the owners, Im not sure...) took a lot of time with me to get to where he knew what I wanted, quoted me a price, and I left. Later, a friend of mine told me to check out another jewelry store in the mid cities area just to see how the price differed. Well, Im sure glad I did that. First of all, the other store (It was also an independent jeweler, not a chain) was not very busy (not a good sign...) and when I explained what I wanted they basically said they dont do that kind of setting and tried to get me to pick something out of a book. I left after the lady I was working with told me I should go home and look on the internet to see if I could find a picture to bring her. Needless to say, I went back to Bedford Gold and Silver and dropped off my diamond to have the ring made. I picked up my ring today. Not only did I get a very fair price on the band, it is so beautiful I cried right there in the store. Probably the most important part of this review is the band I bought was white gold, and cost less than $1000. Their customer service is so sincere and genuine, you would have thought I just spent a million dollars there! I will recommend them to every one I know and will always be a faithful customer.

I have been a customer of Bedford Gold and Silver for six years. Richard Hopkins and his staff are very professional and will always give you an honest estimate and top dollar for your exchanges. I have purchased over 10 items - watches, rings, and necklaces over the years and have been very pleased. Four of them were custom pieces which were one of a kind, Richard is a very talented jeweler and his expertise and honesty is always appreciated. Ladies, we all have old jewelry we arent wearing, take it in and you can update or trade up for a new piece. I have recommended Bedford Gold and Silver to many of my friends, I promise they wont disappoint.

Horrible service. The individual I spoke with referenced keeping my girlfriend there as payment. WHAT THE F DUDE ARE YOU ON DRUGS??? Then it literally took 3 weeks to resize her ring down one size. Kept telling me it would be ready tomorrow because they are working on it right now. When they finally finished, the silver seal they used broke off within weeks. Horrible service, horrible quality work, and a very undesirable experience from every angle. Would never suggest to anyone to ever use this location.

The staff at Bedford Gold & Silver Exchange were incredibly friendly. My wife and I took my wedding band to be resized as well as a few watches that needed new batteries. Richard spoke to the jeweler and had him work on my ring while we waited so I could try it on in the store. The prices were fair and the craftsmanship was excellent as far as I could tell. They even offered to clean and polish my wifes ring while we waited. Well definitely bring our business back again in the future.

BEWARE!!! Just got a watch a month ago. I thought I was buying the watch as described, however, its not!!! I had it checked out by a reputable dealer in NY, and it was not the watch I thought I was purchasing. When I went back to ask for a refund, because I didnt have the original receipt, and he conveniently lost my receipt as well, he robbed me of $350 to trade back for "borrowing" the watch. Terrible deals here!!!! Look else where!!!! I want my hard earned money back!!!

I just picked up my engagement ring that I had customized at Gold and Silver in Bedford. I was really nervous because I did not know if I described what I envisioned properly. But all my fear was put aside when they took all the time needed to hear what I want and make it perfect. I was really nervous to see the outcome cause I have never had anything customized and IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!! And I mean it was exactly what I wanted!! LOVE IT!!

What can I say? Professionalism at the upmost. My husbands wedding band was bought here in 2009, and he got a nick on it. Found out that could not be repaired. Bedford Gold and Silver sent it back to manufacturer, and was replaced for FREE! I tried to pay for shipping, no charge period. Its so refreshing to find a business not nickel and diming.
