THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially one man in particular who I dont remember the name of. But all I can say is that he was a tall African American man. I was arguing with my mother about something (Im an 18 year old girl btw) and it was just a small argument, we werent making a scene but I clearly looked pretty mad. Apparently the employee was eavesdropping on what I said and came up to me later and gave me some sort of lecture along the lines of "I saw what you said to your mother and you should be ashamed" and blah blah plus more with A LOT of attitude, and in an almost cynical tone. Then proceeds to walk off nodding his head back and forth where as I was standing there, jaw dropped very confused because First off in what circumstance did he have ANY right to say that to me??? Especially as an employee, I was actually surprised!! And secondly he had no idea what I was actually arguing about with my mother, it was a serious argument and again we werent making a scene, the place was pretty much empty. I mean what if I was talking about something important? And then he comes up to me and tells me I should be ashamed??? what type of employee is this!? AN EMPLOYEE, under what authority!? He didnt even know me!! How absolutely rude!! All in all I am extremely mad right now, and on top of that the rest of the staff is quite similar. I would definitely give this place zero stars if I could. To this day I have a grudge against that man, and refuse to shop there. I CANNOT believe he, an employee actually lectured me??? With absolutely zero basis to his claim. How has he not been fired yet!? Can you believe this!?

I actually liked Best Buy but no longer. They will not receive any more of my business other than me window shopping and then purchasing from other online retailers. Nov 2014 I purchased 2 phones (Note4 and S5) from associate 1092545. This devious guy mentioned that there was a $50 BB gift card along with an AT&T promotion for $150 per phone that would be applied to my AT&T bill. Well, 3 months later, no $150 per phone credit. Called AT&T and they said it was only for new customers and not existing customers and to contact Best Buy. I contacted Best Buy CS and these special people keep telling me that this was only for Verizon. So basically associate 1092545 knew I was an existing AT&T customer, told me I would get a $150 credit per phone on my bill, LIED, got me to purchase it and probably did the happy dance as soon as I walked away. I cant do business with associates that treat me like this. Apparently Best Buy has non commissioned associates but then this entire transaction boggles my mind why this guy would dupe me out of $300 for a 2 phone sale. CS sucks and basically tells me that its my fault and that it was a Verizon promotion. Too bad CS didnt sell me the phone then I would have never worried about the $300 I just got ripped off on. Bye Best Buy, I hope you go the way of Circuit City.

I hate buying Apple products, my daughter wanted a Macbook for her 18th bday. The sales associate, Brandon, while too pro-Apple for my tastes, was at least fair and balanced towards both sides. He knew the products really well, and steered us towards what I think was a better purchase than what we originally went in to purchase (more power, performance, ports, and same price). He was also helpful with getting us educational discounts and with the 12 month financing, etc. He also took care of us at the register, and other than a small misunderstanding about what accounts I had, he handled the register like a pro. And, we also almost left without the educational discount (the website wasnt working correctly, so he got approval for an override), and he chased us down to make sure we got a credit applied back to the CC. I have spending that much money, and on Apple, but at least I feel comfortable with what we walked out with which is probably the best thing I could ask for if the money is going to be spent in that way. I am not typically complimentary of most Best Buy associates (hence the 4 star rating for overall, and not just the most recent visit), but he was probably one of the best Ive ever worked with at a store.

Walked in to buy a case and screen protector. I was greeted nicely but was not assisted at all. I even waived twice at what to come find out was a department manager!!! He just kept talking to other employees. Goofing off!!! Then when I was checking out the KID who was checking me out asked "would you like me to put on the screen protector? If so it would be a $7.99 charge!" I was like WOW Really???? Yall charge for that... his response word for word! "Yeah, were not a charity!" I went and spoke to the GM and he did NOTHING to try to correct the situation. Just apologized. I felt like the least he could have done was ask how he could help resolve this issue to win my business. He let a $100 current purchase walk out the door plus ANY FUTURE PURCHASES. I will not return. I went to ATT and bought a case I didnt want AS MUCH as the one at Best Buy, PLUS the screen protector AND AN Amazon ECHO! Best Buys loss is AT&Ts gain! Now-a-days, customer service is going to be the ONLY THING that sets you apart! Come on Best Buy, get it together!!!!

Horrible customer service. I wanted to get a new phone, waited in area 10 minutes saw no associates, went over to Samsung desk, just unsupervised young kids playing with devices waited another 5 minutes, still no service. Went to leave 6 associates standing by front door, eating ice cream and small talk. Was never greated or asked if I needed assistance. Only good thing, is I had purchased about $1000 in items online, and pick up was easy. I will no longer shop at this store again. I will add that I went back talked to GM and he made things right. We had a good open talk and he restored my faith in this store again. I want them to succeed, Amazon cant run everything. Changed rating to 4 stars.

My mom needed two laptops for her business so I went with her to help her pick them out. One of the geek squad guys really went out of his way to give us a description of the options, and was very knowledgeable. Also the associate who helped pick up the models we were interested in was very patient as my mom described the details of what she needed. All of this was the evening of Black Friday (not the night of Thanksgiving). I figured the employees would be exhausted/grumpy after all the crazy shoppers went through, but they were very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. Anyway, I just wanted to show my gratitude in some way and this is all I could think of. Thanks!

Bought an HP printer that wouldnt align write. Took 24 rings before someone at store picked up. He then referred me to call the Geek Squad. 7 rings to get one of the rudest women I have talked to - She rudely transferred me to the "Geek Squad" where a message told me they had a lot of volume and to hold. Then a recording said I should call back later and hung up on me. Nice! Ill be hanging up on Best Buy if I can ever get this printer fixed. This company wont last long and will probably file for bankruptcy while it tries to reidentify itself. I wouldnt be buying any warrantys from these guys as they arent going to last long.
