The three times I’ve had to visit this store have all been a horrible experience. I read the previous reviews and couldn’t believe what I was reading. No way an Apple store could be this bad so I thought??!! This store has numerous reviews stating that this store basically "sells you a new item” if your product doesn’t work while offering no real form of “service". I’m here to confirm that THIS IS ALL TRUE! Don’t go to this location!! I had three products looked at on three different trips so the info I’m sharing is exactly what the “genius” told me. Issue #1: Apple TV wouldn’t power up. The “genius” didn’t know or couldn’t figure out how to restart or power up my device. I glanced at his iPad screen while he was performing his “diagnostics” and all he did was perform a google search for the problem - something I had already done and something I don’t expect from the genius bar at Apple. After a few minutes he held the product up to his ear and said it doesn’t work and offered these solutions: 1. Pay $165 to replace this product or; 2. Buy a new Apple TV. Issue #2: 1TB Time Capsule not working - This time the “genius” put his little pin into the reset button a couple of times then again he listened to the sounds the unit made (or didn’t make) and immediately concluded that this time capsule was not working. His suggestion? Buy a new 2 TB Time Capsule for $299. "No other option" as he stated. What I did: Didn’t buy the new Time Capsule as recommended by the “genius". I went home, did about 4 hours of research and found out that my HD was no longer responding. Took it to Fry’s and within 10 min. (of actual testing) they confirmed that part of the HD may not be functioning properly. I then bought a new HD for under $100. Now I have 3x the storage!!! Now this is a solution! Issue #3: My iMac’s optical drive was not operating correctly. After some further “diagnostics, the solutions provided were: 1. Pay $285 to have Apple install a new drive; 2. Use my retina macbook pro’s external cd/dvd drive through sharing. What I did: Asked the “genius” to show me how to network the drive between my iMac and MacBook Pro. After about 5-10 min. of this “genius” working on getting it to work - the end result was as he stated: “Oh man, thought this would work, never mind. Don’t count this as an option, just buy the new drive” After all this, how could anyone trust the judgement and willingness of any “genius” in this store? They are entirely focused on selling new products while offering little to no tech support. A tech department is suppose to offer solutions, remedies or alternative options to FIX the issue at hand and not advise buying a new product as the ONLY solution.

Today I went in to get my back camera fixed on my iPhone 6 Plus. After waiting 45 mins when I made an appointment, the man told me he could run a test but first had to clear my phone.(make it brand new pretty much) and since my iCloud was full & instead of showing me how to clear it out, he showed me how to purchase more storage. Anyways, he made me download an app called Dropbox, made me go through the process of signing up(which they charge 9.99 a month) he made me download google photos and transfer my pictures to it. The test didnt work and he offered to replace my camera for $60 dollars be my phone was 32 DAYS past warranty. Once I asked to speak to a manager he instantly approached me & my sleeping 7 month old with "so it looks like someones out of warranty." Loud & rude as can be, as I went to explain to him what happened & my past experiences with other apple stores he got an attitude & told me he made the decision on rather my phone gets fixed, that he calls the shots himself not APPLE THE COMPANY, this man belittled me in the most embarrassing way. After arguing w him & refusing their service bc of the way this man was treating me, I told him I would rate this store & let the people know how poorly I was treated. He changed his whole demeanor & started to say Im trying to reason w you and make a one time exception. They told me I could pick my phone up within the hour. I waited two hours just for a different man to bring out my phone & tell me that its been messed w by a 3rd party & they cannot do anything for me. My phone has never been open by anyone else before, these people wasted my time today. Theyre customer service was terrible, Im 21 year old mother who was treated like a child by 2 males, one a manager with wooden glasses, kinda has a beer belly. Another bald w black glasses & scruffy beard. I recommend for ppl to stay away for this store, the employees, especially men helping woman, act very dominant & snooty. Id give this place zero stars if it were possible. Very disappointed in apple & really considering selling every apple device I own. Thats how bad this store upset me.

Horrible place , they are ignorant and treat people like they are stupid , I have no idea why they call it "Apple Genius Store ", it should be called "Apple Idiot Store", I purchased Iphone 6 plus and after couple of months the battery went bad, it would not hold charge, even after turning everything off and putting it in airplane mode and even turning the phone off ,after 8 hours the battery was dead , I had to keep it on charger almost all the time just to use it , I took it to apple store with hopes of changing battery, after long wait (almost an hour ) I got to talk to one of the so called genius`s , they ran diagnostics , they could see how often the phone was charged and how fast it discharged , they could see that even without any use the battery was discharging fast, they could see that the in two hours that I was in the store the battery lost 60% without any usage , they said that they can`t do anything about it , they told me that I have damaged the battery by continuously charging it ,my question was , how can I use this phone without charging it all the time , the battery goes dead after few hours even without using the phone , their diagnostics showed them that the phone has defective battery , after hour of arguing they decided to replace my phone , they made a big and clear point that they doing it out of courtesy and not because the phone is only couple of months old and under warranty and it came with defective battery , I would never again use this store and advice everyone else to do the same

Had a bad experience. I really dont like going into the Apple stores because of all of the people who bump into you and the kids running around going bat-s**t crazy! Obviously, the customers cant dictate how the stores reviews are, but the employees are just really bad at customer service. These employees at this particular store seem over worked and just as frustrated as myself. My bad experience: I cracked my screen and had it replaced. The store was not as busy as usual, so the person told me that it would take an hour. I wanted the exercise, so i walked around the mall. An hour and half later, I went back and the employee told me that my phone was still "in the queue." What does that mean? It means they forgot about my phone and didnt work on it. She said it woudl take them 20 minutes to repair and to wait. I did. An hour later, she told me the tech was still *air quote* working on it *air quote*. No. She actually used her hands to signal the "air quotes"!!!!!! She basically told me to "get lost" or "I dont care about you" or "you are not important." I got my phone five hours later. I only gave this store two stars because my screen works great. I wish I could give them a -2 stars for customer service. Avoid this store if possible. If not... good luck.
