I have been a customer of OUAC for a few years. One day after being there for 3 hours (felt like 5 mins) just looking through all the items, I thought... "why am I not working here? I love this place so I might as well get paid to be here!" This was going to be my dream job, and being that I was a customer I knew I could use that to help meet the needs of other customers that were not being met. The number ONE issue that they have - and not just one store, but I believe the entire company - is in Customer Service. I personally have had several experiences with the store when I felt like I was such an inconvenience to the individual who came over to check me out. Once I began to work there, that was my number one priority to focus on and I had such a wonderful experience with the customers and received numerous thanks for finally treating them with respect and friendliness. Well, unfortunately, my style did not mesh with the company and was viewed as "wasting time". Finally after several weeks of management and my fellow employees shutting me out and bullying, I left. This company is an amazing idea and would LOVE to still be with my "dream job", but the issues they have stem from a much higher place than the cashiers. The management is horrible and it is a shame. Such wonderful clothes, toys, equipment, and on and on.... but it is such a shame that there are absolutely horrible employees in such a wonderful store.

I moved to Texas about 7 months ago and I love the company, I use to go to my old ounce upon once a week! But the workers in the flower mound location are terrible. I can only go on Sunday mornings due to my job, and I have never been treated more disrespectfully in my life! The staff is always rude, I go alone without my children and if you ask any of the girls anything they roll there eyes and talk about you as you walk away. I know Im not the only one that has been treated like this, other moms will mention there attitudes as we stand in line. Ally, I belive is her name is the staff member that has the most terrible attitude every time I have been there! I love the company and what it stands for, but it would be better if the manager Stephanie would notice the complaints and take action on her horrible staff. Please make some changes, me and my friends dont want to drive an hour to the next once upon just because the staff is so rude, we are adults, but still want to be treaded like people even if its at a retail store. Thank you

Manager Jonny is incredibly rude and degrades every employee. I have witnessed first hand. Other Manager or Assistant Manager Stefany is not helpful at all and will get another employee to help you rather than help you herself. Shocked any employee stays there. Owners should pop in every once in a while, or let the employees speak without fear of being fired. Planning on taking secret video sometime. One time I was there and the girl at the register was new and NOT A SINGLE OTHER EMPLOYEE WOULD HELP HER WITH HER QUESTION! She kept apologizing and trying to figure it out and with tears in her eyes said..Im so sorry...Im new. And asked again, then someone came over and snatched the stuff out of her hands and nearly pushed her out of the way. Horrible MANAGEMENT there. Some employees ok...others....should RUN.

I admit -- I couldnt care less about customer service in a resale shop. I am there to get in, find what I need, and get out as quickly as possible and with all the items I need in one stop. I have shopped at this store numerous times for children of multiple ages, quite successfully, and cant even tell you if the customer service was good or bad -- I just dont pay attention. (To be honest I also dont remember it being dirty or smelling like anything in particular.) So if you dont care either, and you need a HUGE store with a great selection -- this is your place. I love it and make the long drive to get there at least twice a year.

Rude black manager lady. She seemed stuck up and had a attitude. Typical of black people. They must pay so little is why their ov8erall customer service sucks. At first I didnt want to say anything. But when I went to another location they were rude as well. Long sthey short go to kid to kid. The one in grapevine has good customer service. Today was a different Day that I experienced poor very tacky customer service. Bora the manager on duty today was extremely rude. Long story short she raised her voice. I wouldnt be surprised if they lost customers over time and eventually had to close its doors.

This is my absolute favorite Once Upon A Child. I have been to the ones in Denton, Carrollton, and Euless and they really just dont compare. I recently moved to Fort Worth and yesterday I drove all the way to Flower Mound just to find my daughter an exersaucer which was $35. (the one in Euless had none) While I was there I also scored my toddler a BRAND NEW Beatbo dancing robot for only $15 (over Christmas they were $50) and my preschooler Shimmer and Shine dancing toys for $7 each that retailed $40 a piece over Christmas as well! <3 Ive never been disappointed by this store.

I love this place! i was never a fan of second hand items until i came to this specific store. i always go in there and find really good clothes and every time i find clothes with the original tags on too! I now drive an hour away to shop at this store! It is truly a treasure for kids clothes in the DFW area. I Havent found anything better. i think rich people just drop off their clothes here and i assume Justice next door is always giving them clothes. Bc my daughter loves Justice and Im always finding justice brand with the tags still on.

Its overall a very good store for small kids.I love the toy selection. Dont know to much about the clothes.I have bought my oldest grandchild clothes there but most go for the toys.many people are talking about the rude staff.I have never had a problem. I am not there for them but to shop. I have sold stuff there a time or to.Dont care if they buy it or not.I know many people in need if they dont want it I can give it to someone else who needs it but other than that its been a good store.

This place has some great deals and some of the employees are great. But theres always times I go in and the employees act annoyed when you bring in stuff to sell. And you have the bring in small bags or I dont think they even look at them. I once brought in a HUGE garbage bag full of designer baby clothes of all seasons. They told me there was nothing of value in there. It honestly didnt even look like they even opened the bag.

Stay away! The manger should be fired. She is rude. And si.gles me out every time I bring things in for them to buy. If she sees my name on the ticket, no buys. I can send the same items in with someone else and damn near every thing is purchased by them. Happens everytime. would love to talk to the owner and set up a sting and red hand bust her. Not a good way to run a business. Fire ur manger please.
