Right off the bat, I had a gut feeling that my experience was not going to be a good one. I have been going to Teghin for my hair coloring at this JCP salon location and she knew EXACTLY what she was doing and time and time she accomodated me in coloring my hair and constantly exceeded my expectations. She has since relocated to another salon and for convenient purposes (this location is closer to my house than her new salon location) I book a reservation with JCP Salons. I booked a color appointment for 1:00pm on Friday with Heather. I get to my appointment 5 till 1 and the lady at the front desk tells me that Heather was not even working today. I proceed with getting my hair colored anyway with a "Mary Jane". This switch is fine, as I trust the ladies at JCP and I consider myself to be a flexible person. My mistake. Mary Jane was late 20 minutes. Which I do not understand, as the stylists should know their appointments in advance, AND i booked my appointment 2 days prior. Finally at 1:25pm, Mary Jane finally makes it in after the other stylists informed me that they have been paging her and overhead-calling her. She explained to me that she lost track of time handing out coupons on the JCP floor. Mary Jane seemed rushed near the end. I understand my hair appointment and requests proved difficult, however, this was the same case with Teghin, but she always finished with care, making sure I was happy with the final product. While my hair was processing, Mary Jane agreed to take on another client and cut her hair. I had to wait for her after my hair had been sitting and washed. And it just felt wishy washy watching her go from me, her first client, and the other girl. In the duration, I asked questions as I am not a hair expert and got very vague and brushed off answers. She also failed to explain to me that my color would be darker on my hair than on the sample cards. A mocha color now looks like red streaks in my hair. :/ She also spilled the toxic dyes all over me and the chair and we hastily had to contain the product before it hit my skin. While she was blowdrying my hair, she had extremely long nails, which left scratches all over my forehead. I also heard her apologizing to the other girl for her broken nails that were over due for a cut. During the hair dry, she was also rushing and using her fingers to untangle my hair and was seriously rushed. Come to find out, she had a client that she seemed to be regular with, that had come in at 5:00pm. I am not saying that she cannot have other clients, but she was rushing on me when she herself was late. In the end, the girls up front messed up on my payment with a Visa Gift Card and I was left leaving unsatisfied with my almost $100 hair job and a bad experience. Mary Jane was a very nice person, but my experience will make me put quality, over convenience and to never come to this location to get my hair colored.

This store in particular is always in very low stock of girls clothes. I had thought it was just a bad day but we have been to this location as it is closer to home than the vista ridge location but every time I have been disappointed by the selection...or lack thereof. The Sephora inside gets 5 stars though they are always helpful and friendly not too pushy and give great recommendations on products.

One of the nicest not attached to a mall JC Penny locations Ive been too. Has a good variety of mens selections. I dont know what to really say.... If youve been to a JC Penny this one is basically the same. However they had a super friendly and attentive staff. And the neighborhood this location is in caters to a higher level of customer service.

I like JC Pennys new big & tall section. They have a huge selection & I can get t-shirts for the same price as walmart charges. They also have a great selection of kids clothes and you can usually get coupons online for $10 off a $25 purchase.

Had a great customer experience at this store! Everyone on the floor was super helpful, and the manager, who was walking the floor, must have asked me at least three times if I needed anything. Really enjoyed shopping this location today.

Absolutely the worst customer. I bought two shirts that didnt fit and when I tried to return them they refused the return. The only explanation was "thats what our computer says". No wonder JC Penny is struggling.

Some JCP locations are trying to stay positive, but this location is very well staffed and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Great sale prices, if you use the Rewards program!
