I really wish I could upload the picture of my problem and how they tried to repair it. First let me say, Im been buying furniture from this store for over 20 years. I love the style of furniture they sale. But this last purchase has been purchase from HELL!!! The chaise to the set I bought was defected. I went to store to explain the problem. I was told someone would be at my home within two weeks. I have to admit, that someone came on 11/25. After receiving a call that the repairers was on the way, I sent my sister to my home to let them inside. they acknowledge the problem, and attempt to repair it in the most sloppy way possible. My sister complained about how unprofessional the repairs was being done on a brand new chaise, that no one had even sit on yet. This chaise cost $599.00, they refuse to fix the chaise the right way. They became upset with my sister, because of her complaining. They left the chaise in the middle of the floor turned upside down. When I came home, I called the store, talked to a gentlemen about the problem. His words to me was he had heard the store from the repairer, he was not concerned about how the repairers left the item nor was he concerned about the issue. I asked to speak to someone that could help me, that I was receiving guest in my home for Thanksgivings. I was told the whole family of owners was off today, and that the manager was at a funeral. He had no sympathy for my situation. I am handicap and does not have the energy to turn the chaise over and place it where it was before the repairer came. I had to get my neighbor to put the legs back on chaise and get it out of the middle of the floor. This is unacceptable behavior. With the chair being less than 2 weeks old, a new chaise should have been offered. I have no problem with them repairing the chaise, but my God repair it the right way. I will be updating this post, after thanksgivings, to post the final solution of this problem. They should also teach employees better phone manners, especially if the whole management team is not available.

My faith has been restored in good business and customer service. Mr. Kyle Currens allowed me to exchange the horrible hard mattress for a softer mattress. He actually took the time to show me several options that would be better and allowed me the time to try out the mattresses and make a decision without rushing me. Last night I slept so much better. I did not wake up with back pain for the first time in weeks. Thank you so much for good customer service and providing a solution to my problem. I will go back and do business with the furnitue shop. The personal touch and willingness to resolve my issue made all the difference. ***** I will never shop at The Furniture Shop again. I brought a Sierra Sleep mattress that was labeled plush and felt plush in the store. When the mattress was delivered to me it felt like I was sleeping on a wood plank. I called the store and went back to the store 3 days later. Turns out the side that was open to the public and not pushed against another bed was softer than the side that couldnt be accessed. The owner basically told me there was nothing they could do. I just had to wait for the bed to break down or buy a mattress topper. I paid good money for this mattress if I wanted to spend additional money for a mattress topper I would have spent additional $ for a more expensive mattress. Its weeks later and my back and neck hurts every day. I cant sleep which is why Im up at 4 am writing this review. This is definitely a lesson learned. I would never do business with is company again. I hope they enjoy this one purchase instead of the lifetime of business I was prepared to give them.

I purchased some theater seating from here on November 12, 2011 a week later they sent me a letter saying that the fabric was out of stock and I could come in and choose another color. I went to talk to the manager and he said that another color would come in faster so I changed the color then he said that the orignal color had come in stock and it would come in faster than the second color I selected so I changed it back. They said it will take five weeks to come in and its still not here and its Feburary 6th another 6 days and it will be 3months. The manager doesent even know when his truck comes in. The worst service I ever had I would not refer any one the shop here. If you want your product in a decent amount of time shop somewhere else

Disrespectful staff! Was told seeing I didnt pick up mattress then I would have to wait and this was the reputation of saying I was going to pick it up and didnt. Junior called me today n said they was going to delivery today and that is the reputation of not calling yesterday. Rude and disrespectful! Joe gets on the phone and worried about his staff treatment but your staff just rudely attacked me. There was no attempt for resolution until I stayed I would cut off business today and now they want to replace a mattress that has wire coming out of it.

I have purchased from the Furniture Shop many times. I always go in seeking out Ms. TERESA! She has such a sweet disposition and very eager to help and assist in whatever it is Im seeking. I was in today seeking out a bed that I had never seen in the store, but guess what they had it one of the books... I love this place and it wont be my last time shopping with them!

Five years ago I bought my living room furniture from here and was highly satisfied so I returned in search of an entertainment center. Paid off my account 3/1 was told 2-8wks delivery but was optimistic thinking it would come 4wks or less. Problem its 4/11 $$ gone and no product. Very disappointed. They sold me a sofa that was supposed to be bonded leather and it peeled like paper I live alone and the leather came apart from the backing they tried to charge me to fix it and I waited after paying them only to be told they couldnt do it and tried to sell me a new sofa buyers beware

They are always polite and helpful. I go in at least 2 times a year to see whats available. I find pieces that are very different from other furniture stores. I purchased a sofa and love seat. Processing and delivery was done with efficiency.

Ive been buying from the furniture shop for over ten years. Great prices and great quality. Very nice family operation. Not pushy and they let you take your time looking while you shop. I refer all my friends and family there.
