First I should say that I have not seen the inside of Winetastic. There are only one or two parking spaces in front. On July 23rd, I pulled around to the back of the strip mall in which the store is located and had to squeeze past an Infiniti SUV that was stopped in the very middle of the drive unloading something. I pulled into a space marked for Winetastic. There was another empty space next to my car. As I stepped out of my vehicle and before I could even close my car door a middle aged bleach-blonde woman stomped up to me and said that it was her parking space. I said that it was marked for Winetastic, and asked if it was for customers. She very snottily said that she was the owner. I said, "OK, nice to meet you, can customers not park there?" She rolled her eyes at me and said "Are you going right in?" She had decided that I was trying to illegally park before I had gotten out of my car. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I drove over to Vino100 on McKinney. Vino100 is less than two miles from Winetastic and no one accosted me in the parking lot. Denise was very helpful and courteous. When I buy wine i do not want to be uncomfortable or confused or insulted. I will never do business with Winetastic.

Winetastic is open and under new management! The best thing about this place is that you can taste off two menus at two different price points, and the menus change weekly. They also have a nice selection of bottles to go or enjoy there with some tasty appetizers or cheese plates . I found the new management passionate about wine and always respectful of its traditions and culture. With that said the service is great and done in a relaxed style so I never feel out of place. Definitely a fun and relaxing environment to learn and taste some great wines.

I like the ambience of the location and the staff are super nice - able to make great recommendations on the wine currently available. Great selection as well that you wont find at many stores. Snacks and dinner are available to be carried over from the restaurants in the area as well.

Fun casual place to taste and learn about wine. Not pretentious at all! Nice that the meat and cheese plate items are sourced locally from Jimmys and Scardellos. TIP: park downstairs in the parking garage behind Glorias...

Winetastic is great. They have a nice selection of wines and a very knowledgeable staff. A great place to pick up a bottle of wine or try a glass of something new. My favorite place to have a drink and meet with friends.

Great local, friendly wine bar! Love the wine tasting events that have helped me learn more about wine from around the world. Good selection of wine by the glass and Monday is 1/2 price.
